I don't normally read this type of stuff but I have to say the emotional content in this one had me hooked. Great read even though it is solidly outside my normal comfort zone.
Very good. I am stunned that this does not have more traction. This is hooves-down one of the best clop romance oneshots I've read. This does a perfect job of capturing a romantic sexual encounter, and I admit I read this without reading the prequel at all, which did nothing to diminish the story.

Yeah, I don't blame you if you don't want to read the prequel. 160k words is quite intimidating, and I think I got this fic written in a way where it's of minimal consequence if you haven't read the prequel.
The prequel and this have the exact same title... That's kinda confusing...

I can see how it might be a bit confusing when the only difference between the two titles is one word added/omitted, but I am an awful person and could not resist the pun. It also makes it easy to see that the two fics are related to each other.

This was great, but I had to read it twice my mind stuck on the possibility of Vanity (Vinyl/Rarity ship) and I was like: That would be awesome. So I kind of lost focus on the rest and had to reread it skipping that part.
This was great! The little details were intriquite (wouln't know for the mature parts, I don't read them for... reasons ºu*) and you got Applejack depicted astoundingly! I only have one complaint... Applejack cries internally, as mentioned in Tanks for the Memories (I forgot when it aired, don't blame me for being stupid pls.)

I think it's more of a case where Applejack tries to hold back her tears. I can recall at least two instances where Applejack has indeed cried. The first one is in "Make New Friends But Keep Discord" when Applejack does a sort of happy crying when she sees Apple Bloom all dressed up for the Grand Galloping Gala. The second time is during "Hearthbreakers" when she goes to cry alone in the mines because she thought she ruined Hearth's Warming.
In addition, Applejack is very close to Octavia in this story, so she is more open with her emotions around her marefriend.

I can understand that from the story (it really shows!) and thus is appropriately excludable from this generalization.
