Black powder is pretty easy to make, but is slow and dirty. Cordite isn't exactly difficult to manufacture, although it is tougher than black powder, it just requires more chemistry and safety precautions. Cordite delivers higher velocities, and burns cleaner. A bit of history here: the 8mm Lebel rifle was the first military rifle to use "smokeless" powder and blew everything else out of the water in terms of effectiveness, as it was introduced at the end of black powder, where things like .45-70 were being adopted to eke out the last bits of black powder performance. If he can get his hands on nitrocellulose, he can make smokeless powder in all likelihood, although picric acid would work as well, it's not preferable.

Why is celestia confused SHE was the one that asumed. SHE was the one who attacked him. He was responding to being asaulted by HER ponies, celestia is to blame for the injured gaurds.

I personaly am pissed at celestia she asumed that toland is a monstor whean she attacked him she invaded his dreams he is doing everything in self defence and she asumes that he is lying to her whean he clearly isnt.
