Sorry dude, I hate reading anthro. I came here for ponies, if I wanted humans or other humanoids I could just grab books from a well-known author and read them instead =\
P.S. it's actually a shame, I like this genre... Sci-fi, space travel, human in Equestria... And I still have to see a decently made Halo crossover. But meh, it's not worth the pain of reading a story with creepy humanoids in it =\

4833325 Well, I chose anthro because it would be more realistic for future endeavors. I think it would be less weird for the main character to be in a relationship with a more humanoid pony.
Also trust me when I say there is nothing wrong with that. I'm just not either able to or comfortable enough writing non-anthro yet. HOWEVER FEAR NOT! I do plan to cater to as many audiences as I can so in the future, keep an eye out for a non-anthro story from me!

If you don't like a story for one of the key elements that the author can't really change without rewriting everything then don't comment about it. I know we all want the writers to write something we like but there are several hundred thousand people on the site and we can't all have our way. If you don't like a story for the characters then don't read it and go find one where they aren't "half-human" as you said (BTW the word is anthro, not half human).
If you're going to keep criticizing stories based off of stuff like anthro ponies then just ignore stories with the anthro tag. It means you get stories you don't hate and People don't have to deal with ignorant sounding comments like your original one. Makes everything better

Is there something you think the story hasn't explained to you properly, or is there something you don't know or understand about Halo? Because I haven't read that chapter yet but if your problem is the second option, I can definitely help.

I thank you for the feedback, but look at it this way. They could have killed him, they didn't. He has every reason to not trust them and want to kill them. However we all know that Fluttershy has some aura about her that changes people and creatures.
Now also consider he cant do much. Yes he is an ODST, but he's still human. a normal Earthpony would be stronger than him only because of their magic which is why he needs his skills to survive not just his gear.
One more thing i'd like to point out. they took care of him. Are you telling me that even if something did everything in their power to make sure you survived and made a complete recovery, You'ld still kill them? Brother... you are one cold man
