The story was good, but honestly, I would love to see a sequel/prequel that went into detail about how Flare and Sunset ended up in Equestria and their adventures afterward. The reason I say this is because you've teased us with a little bit of how this particular world is, and I want to read more about it, please make it happen.

5684523 I don't know about sequel, as far as a prequel, the best thing I can do is direct you to Faith-Wolff's interactions where this all sprang from. But if she doesn't give more detail on Sunset and Flare's life - or the tragedy surrounding their reason to leave the EQG world - then I might do a oneshot on it. As far as a sequel...not really sure, mainly did this for lols, wasn't planning anything further than this, but I might.

I think that's WHY people hate Flash, because he's not a character, he's just "Twilight's love interest", seriously, she's the one he has the most interaction with. I get that he was a jab at shipping fics, but, I feel like they could AT LEAST have given him a bit more character than just "That guy Twilight has a crush on." He's a caricature. Oh well, I'm personally not much of a fan of Flashlight, but if it's done well and Flash has an actual personality, then I'm all for it honestly.
5720698 I dislike Flash with the burning hellfire intensity of the Big Bang itself, but I can't hold that against the children, not when they're that cute and cool. Still don't him though, so you can imagine how somewhat hard this is for me to write with him in it.

5721718 I guess if they did give him more character I'd like him more, but other than that it just makes no sense for Twilight to have a crush on a Human Flash Sentry, and expect that it might translate into something for Pony Flash Sentry. Her attraction for him has no meaning to the plot of either movies. That and he made Twilight cry in Rainbow Rocks. That's unacceptable.

TO be fair, Human Twilight is in the body of a teenager, with all the hormones and stuff, and I've noticed the attraction between the two seems to be little more than physical since Flash is designed to be the typical high school pretty boy with blue hair and a bad boy biker jacket and guitar even though he's anything but and in Rainbow Rocks, like the whole school, he was under the influence of the Dazzlings.

Like I said, he's a jab at shippers by being that typical perfect guy that all girls wants, sweet, sensitive, yet looks like part of a bad boy, plays guitar, nice hair, a car, like I said, it's like a teenage crush, or a highschool thing, which considering the setting of EQG, is little more than that. I can see why people don't like him in the movies, but why they rage when he appears in the episodes is beyond me, it's a nice little nod, I get that Brad, ie, Human Flash is the one most have a gripe with, but Pony Flash is like a background character, a virtual blank slate for characterization.

I think said stigma is mostly due to how the encounter between Twilight and both Flash Sentries in EQG was practically identical. Line for line. I mean, you'd think they'd be totally different, one's a high school teen, the other's a guard who apart from Shining and Cadence is the only non Crystal Pony resident of the Crystal Empire, now all we need is an Earth Pony and we've got all 3 tribes and an alicorn. Anyway, I digress.

I don't see what would be wrong with the two of them dating. It's not like they can get each other pregnant or anything. Although, in Equestria there probably is a spell for that. ... Ah, I'm sure there's a spell for good genetics too.
Anyway, nothing wrong with sisters dating. I know a pair of twin sisters that dated each other when they were teenagers. Years later, and they are still together.
Now if they were opposite gender siblings, that'd be a problem. But they're not. So...
