There's an old saying among ponies: Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it.

In the aftermath of Tirek's rampage, Celestia finds herself thinking upon her life and yearns for those moments of glory and adoration from her youth. While on a trip to the Crystal Empire to assist Cadance and the other princesses in repairing the damage done by Tirek, Celestia finds herself drawn through the magic mirror into another world. Stuck with no way to return or communicate, she is forced to rely on the kindness of her newfound allies. But even here, dark shadows loom that threaten all...

I must confess that I wasn't expecting much when I clicked on this, but I'm not regretting my decision. I certainly hope there's more coming.

Yes, another crossover!
(It's spelled Tirek.)

I'll try to keep up with this, mate. Congrats on another release.

I'm loving the story. Keep up the good work! :D

Wow this is pretty good keep it up.

Can't wait for Celestia to meet Keldeo.

Looks promising

this looks interesting, there aren't that many of these centering around Celestia. i will keep an eye on this though.

I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of description for some of the characters...but I can at least mentally picture a Snivy from this. Some of Snivy's description is pretty interesting.

Hmm . . . Even? Is he an OC or your own version of Hilbert? Doesn't make much sense either way unless this takes place before BW because Juniper's assistant is Bianca from after Alder is defeated on out.

THE PLOT THICKENS!

UPDATES ARE AWESOME!

and thus you gained a follower

Oh my gosh:pinkiegasp: IT IS BACK:pinkiehappy:

Well on the plus side if the mirror is present on the other side, "30 Moons" can go by pretty quick if Celestia's spinning them around...

Hmmm... a crystal shard? I guess Celestia's...

GOTTA FIND EM' ALL!

I have to say, this is the first incredibly well-written Pokemon fic that I've read so far on this site.

I am eagerly awaiting more updates.
(Also, who's thumbing down every comment they see?)

i'm not sure why they can't just tell her "Battling is a sport, its a testament to the skill of the Pokemon and trainer, and the bond they share, its not a fight to the death, and there are no losses of limbs"

Nice of you to return, and with a very exceptional chapter no less.

Yikes. Writing a Dowsing Machine program for the shards can't have been fun if Sunset's 'The Science of Magic' short is anything to go by.

"No losses of limbs"? Clearly you've never read the manga.

Thank you, and sorry about the delay. Hopefully future chapters won't be so sporadic or far apart.

oh, you mean that Arbok?
nah, he was fine....

Good to see you back

This is good. Will you make her a trainer? Or will she have to work with a human trainer to progress? I'd imagine it would be difficult to throw poke balls with hooves...

6553820 Makes sense. Will she turn out to be a pokemon then? Without magic she'd need moves to survive...

It's good to see the story finally updated. Celestia may not be a trainer in this story but then how will the action in this story play out without magic or Pokemon to command? Will it just be generic combat or chase scenes or will Pokemon fight independently of trainer command and direction? Will there be action at all? I certainly hope so because like it or not the battles themselves are the highlights of Pokemon. Either way, it's a good story! Can't wait for the next chapter!

A Celestia adventure fic? I'm sold!

6960830 I AGREE A CELESTIA FIC IN UNOVA MY FAVOURITE POKEMON REGION

I'm very much enjoying this. You have a nice style of writing; I'm terrible at maintaining a single perspective.
And it's rare to find many Celestia Adventure stories. And I'm nearly certain this is the only one with the use of Pokemon.
I'm glad I found this, I'll keep reading.

“No,” Evan began. “Or... well, they don’t lose all their free will, but...”

“... but they’ll listen to humans more easily,” N finished.
i thought it was more like, a mental link begins to be connected, therefore they can semi understand each other easier, its possible to do so naturally, but the time varies, with pokeballs creating a weak one immediately?

It's still alive! Yay! Hopefully, new chapters will be more frequent for now.

Now I'm certainly a fan! You're doing wonderfully with the concept, I look forward to more!

Evan the smallest easily dwarfed all but Town Hall in Ponyville and Twilight’s new castle.

Looks like you got a bit too used to typing his name.

Upon entering the city proper, Celestia paused a moment to look at the ground, covered in an odd grey material not unlike the cobblestones of Fililydelphia,

extra 'i'

Evan gestured to the Snivy. “Evan he seems to disagree with the oaf.”

Damn it Evan, not everything has to be about you!

Evan is clearly narcissistic.

It probably is like the way you describe, but then again, Pokémon IS open to interpretation.

My interpretation is that it helps them understand each other better, but I like your theory as well.

Evan the smallest easily dwarfed all but Town Hall in Ponyville and Twilight’s new castle.

Who is this Evan the smallest? He must be a mighty creature, to tower that large! :rainbowwild:

6960983
Going by the Digglet episode way back when, I got the idea that Pokemon lose no free will at all, if they can refuse to leave their pokeballs. Heck, the anime makes it quite clear that some pokemon - like Wabafeet and Psyduck - leave their pokeballs all the time.

6960955
I have found another good one called Celestias Rocket Adventures. Try it out, it's pretty good.

6545693

Hopefully future chapters won't be so sporadic or far apart.

I am a filthy horrid liar.

-Tricondon

Oh, a new(ish) Tricondon fic? How have I not already read this?

6553820
...
-Looks at chapter 6-
-Looks at previous comment-
-Looks back at chapter-

hmm....have you read any of Saphroneth's fics? like Ashes of the Past?
if so, will the battling in this fic ever be similar?

7476595

Nope. Nope. And possibly, though it'd be purely coincidental.

-Tricondon

*Waits in anticipation for Keldeo to show up.

It's been months and this comment still makes me laugh.

7476595 I'm curious. You think you could put up a link?

Ash teaches him how to manipulate Aura and invents Volt Crash, an Electric version of Hyper Beam. Then there's the part where he half-evolves, keeping the form of a Pikachu but gaining all of the power of a Raichu and then some.

hang on, i just PM'd the author for a better way to describe it...

Ash's egg hatches into a Mawile in the Dragon Holy Land. The Dragons know Ash's fame.
"Ash Ketchum has a Fairy-type. Ash Ketchum. Has. A Fairy-type."
"The guy whose Charizard knows Draco Meteor?"
"And it's even immune to Poison?"
"We're all doomed."

They try to calm down when they see the Mawile is nice... Then she shows she knows Ice Fang.

"It knows Ice Fang! Run!"

And Ash doesn't notice the panic until all the Dragon-types have fled for the hills.
