Its a good start to a Scootaloo story, but I just feel there is something lacking. I can't quite place my finger on it right now, but it might be Diamond Tiara knowing as much as she does, while Scoots friends and teacher don't. Just seems a little out of place for me. I'll await the next chapter to see where you take it.
Well... even if you make her an orphan you seem to have planed that somepony will take care of her, which I'm guessing is Cheerilee. Though I do wonder what Celestia will doing since you included her tag...
Few nit-picks, nothing major or really detracting. At one point you spelled Diamond Tiara as Dismond Tiara, just a slip of the keys.
All in all a good start, be interesting to see where you go with this.

I still don't believe it. What we've seen form the show is that Filthy Rich was a good guy, and TRYING to be a good parent, so this just... Doesn't seem to fit. If it had been SILVER SPOON, I could have seen it, but not Filthy Rich.
This was... unexpected. Both finding the parents, possibly leaving Ponyville forever - and then losing them again without a warning again.

Something like peeling the skin off of her legs, gagging her with it, raping with a scythe, feeding her her bowel, and choking her to death with one of silver spoon's lungs, you know, a simple way of giving her what she deserves. I guess that would mess up the storyline, though. Just wishful thinking, though. You can delete this comment if you want....

ugh, this fic's plot is really clumsy... I tried to let it pass and get to the end of what was here but it's mad eup of some many extremes I can't get into it.
Scootaloo's extreme orphan status, celestia's sudden and blunt involvement, and the level of callousness you went with diamond tiara and her family... changlings really? There's only so far I can stretch before I lose the ability to get into a story.

This was good with what you have, but feels like it was cut off in the middle of the fic. It really needs a sequel, or more chapters.
All in all though it was a cute fic. I'd like to see Scoots adopted, and the fall out of what happens after the Cliff hanger ending. Filthy Rich and Diamond Tiara are going to be so freaking pwned.
