But during one of her bi-weekly sleepovers with Rarity and Applejack, she stubles onto an old magic book in the basement while playing hide and seek, its title reads "The Art and Form of Mind Swapping." Shenanigans will ensue.

erm.... You know, the obvious way for this to go would be for them both to fail miserably in each other's roles while we look on and laugh. And then both Rarity and Applejack gain a newfound appreciation for one another as they learn how hard it is. Right?
I'm not so sure, though. We know Applejack once lived for a time in Manehattan, so she's not totally uncultured. We also know that Rarity doesn't really come from a high-class background, and she's willing to get dirty when it's important (re: Sisterhooves Social). They might be able to mimic one another -- at least superficially -- better than anyone would expect, and they could fool everypony around them. (Doing each other's jobs, on the other hoof.... that could be a problem.)

So long as you keep an eye on dialogue (AJ's feels like the wrong accent) and keeping characters, well, in character, this should turn out to be both a funny and interesting read!

Mmm, a few errors here and there, and a few general writing mistakes, but honestly, this is a pretty good piece of work so far. I would love to see how you extend this.

The little "want to talk about it" exchange between AJ and Twi felt like Grif and Tucker at the very begining of RvB.
