All these stories are somewhat dark in nature, and the writers show an exceptional writing ability, and do extremely well in describing the thoughts and mindsets of ponies who have been living in an un-reality they have constructed around themselves. I would highly recommend reading White Box in its original formatting on Google Docs - it adds another layer of depth to the story and really emphasis the significance of colour. Apotheosis and The Sun Whispers Your Name both play on the idea of a twisted dreamscape which in both stories, Twilight and Luna are trapped in - seeking answers to questions not yet asked, and a way back to the real world. A dreamscape is what the creator makes it, and it reflects our true personality and doesn't hide the darkness. 9-4-6-1-2-4-2 - What.The.Absolute.[REDACTED] I am yet to fully understand the motives and reasoning of the characters, but I don't care. It manages to twist your perception of the main characters in such a way, that you cannot hope to understand their true intentions, or how they came to be in the state they are in. Bloody good, and bloody terrifying.

Usually, I'm a little reluctant to read any of the "Twilight becomes an alicorn" stories - but here are some of the better ones I've read.
