Not like I'm the author or anything, but I'm pretty sure that he's also copying the post-script at the end of each chapter just like the rest of the story. Also, apparently the different formats of google docs and fimfiction make it take an hour to transfer one to the other.

I can't remember a time I was as disappointed in a fic as I am with this story and this chapter. You couldn't find more dick-stroking at a circlejerk. And yes, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see LP and BJ kicking ass together, and yes, if I don't write a crackfic shipping the two of them by the time I'm done with this story, it means I'm dead, but this is not what I wanted. :( There goes my happy.

Deus is that one character that pops up often and is supposed to be scary and deadly, but he's just fucking hilarious.

Ya know.... I told myself I wasn't going to comment every chapter; that'd be ridiculous (and if the author or editors get annoyed, especially with the gripey-er comments, just tell me to shut up. I won't be offended. Other readers can just downvote me; also fine). But 33 required purging, much like too much whisky, and now this... well in the other direction I have to laugh in public... so to speak.

Okay, a little cringey at times how quickly they took to each other, not to mention all the awkward 'look how much more hardcore my story is' in the medcenter... but I stepped back and asked myself "When Blackjack isn't wallowing in guilt, is she likable?" To which I could only answer "Well yeah, very." "Would she and Littlepip likely get along?" "...Most likely; they both tend towards a particular brand of crazy-awesome." And then I rolled my eyes at myself, and enjoyed the damn ride like I should. I'd hoped for this to be enjoyable again, unsure it would be. Well, whatever comes next, it still has that capacity, and only a chapter later (some of the comments seemed to imply otherwise in 33, but whisky showed them!). I might have been annoyed about the kiss.... if Pip hadn't already (or will, depending on how you're looking at continuity) show/n a capacity to check out pretty much any female around her. Homage is the forgiving sort.

Also... a few weeks ago I never would have thought that the battle cry of "CUUUUNNNNNNTTT!" could evoke nostalgia and humor. Well-played.

I totally fan-gasmed from BlackJack meeting LittlePip till the end like..... OMG YEEEEEESSSS!!! Totally loved every single part of the story! :D

This is probably my favorite chapter of the story thus far, and it's not for the reason you probably expect. The start to it, with the stars and the brief history type thing and then the talk with Silver Stripe, was what really made me love this chapter. Blackjack bumbling around like a bigger moron than usual in her new appendages was an added bonus. The biggest bonus, however, was Blackjack meeting Littlepip. That was amazing, and I'm damn glad that you executed it like you did. Their conversations were very nice. Now I just hope BJ gets control of her magic back, because it kinda sucks to see that part of her useless. Also... after talking to Littlepip that much and all that, has she figured out that she's the Stable Dweller? I hope she's not that dense... Also, I found it fitting that I read this chapter two days before my own birthday.

Greatest line ever. I've just now getting to this story and I've got to say that I love this so much. This fanfic has had me on an emotional rollercoaster since the beginning and I've really come to love all the characters. It's stories like this that make me wish that I could mod, program or anything of the like to help Overmare Studios with the game, because if this story doesn't end up as 'DLC' I'll be a very sad pony. But, like BJ always says

"I'm not a smart pony."

I thought that Littlepip was written really well in this chapter! I guess I'm a little miffed that we don't see much of Fallen Glory at all after her plan to save BJ's life went off without a hitch, but Pip's awesomeness more than makes up for it! I find it kinda funny how BJ convinced her to take the mintals again in this version.

Though honestly it is kinda contrived how BJ doesn't realize Pip is the Stable Dweller.

Considering how long it took her recognise Caprice, I am not surprised by this. I believe she still thinks the Vault Dweller is some Big Mac sized pony that makes alicorns heads explode buy pointing her hoof at them them and yelling 'boom'

wow, that was a surprise. i was sort of expecting Blackjack's friends to stick her in a stasis chamber (one of the ones the crazy kids were in) to buy her time to make new Cybernetic parts!

and Blackjack STILL doesn't realize that the "mind-reading-monster" is that Alicorn goddess, or that Littlepip IS "the stable dweller"...
and the way Blackjack was admiring "little Macintosh" was cute.

Then LittlePip was escorted out of the tent by a stallion in a big fancy hat that I supposed put him in charge. The effect was immediate, eyes wide and jaws dropped before they howled in near panic, “NOOOOO! THESE TWO MAY NOT BE TOGETHER! THE GODDESS FORBIDS IT!” She waved me in the air like a rag doll.

I admit this chapter had a bit of an uphill battle for me after Littlepip showed up. I had my doubts. But by the end so much amazing shit had happened that it was impossible for me to not love it. It thoroughly won me over and is now one of my favorites!

But I feel like after Black we needed a very dumb very stupid chapter the tone is pretty much stupid shenanigans that halts the plot to have pointless things happen that don't really affect either story.

it's also a recovery chapter litterly. blackjack recovers from the events of Black and her own mindset almost litterly reborn on the day of her birth.

I don't disagree with that. My main complaint was with the continual comparison between LP's crew and BJ's, which just points out how much more extreme PH is: darker, edgier, wackier. Littlepip and her friends look flat-out normal by comparison. I thought it was in poor taste.

It's roughly what it shows: (going from memory) Blackjack having an out-of-body experience and seeing a lot of the history setting up the setting. A great star--which would become the Eater of Souls--tries to force back the darkness and dominate the celestial song, burns itself out, tries to consume others, is ultimately fought back against and defeated by another star and crashes to Equestria. This kills a lot of the life on the planet and forms or alters the Moon, while the vanquished star lies dormant. Much later, zebra shamans try to raise the star but another star spirit sacrifices itself to stop them, and in the process fragments into two great souls, which are implied to become the Princesses. The spirit is dormant again, and the geology of Hoofington has I think been majorly altered. I think that covers most of it, but there's also a reunion with Gin Rummy offering closure to that relationship, and ultimately Blackjack deciding to return to her life in Equestria because there's so much left for her to do and so many she can still help.

I think that roughly covers it, but if there are pieces that don't track right or are missing let me know and I can try a more comprehensive, reviewed answer.

Pretty much. The star's goal is to push back against the darkness and nothingness that fills so much of the universe. The Eater, in his arrogance, believed that he could do the job better than grander than all other stars. That he didn't need to die like stars do. That death, as painful and terrifying as it is, is also necessary. He refused to die, and so became something that devoured light. Some stars then exploded to drive the eater away, into the darkness with things that are older than the universe itself.
But it refused to go.
Instead, it diverted itself to where Equus was just forming and smashed into it. This impact killed trillions of souls, some of which infused the earth with their own essense, and others which formed the moon. This is the equivalent to the Thea impact that formed our own moon, though on a less extinctiony level. This is why Goldenblood shows a common ruby, all pre cut and polished, and an actual lump of ruby with no magical properties what so ever.

This, is the most important comment I've seen so far. Confirmation of the intention of the Eater, I'm so glad I read the feedback on all the chapters.

Additionally, the crossover at Tenpony was done in a hilarious fashion and is one of my favorite side stories. I wish there was more interaction between the two parties, but I know it's better left as a cameo..
