Just finished the last chapter and epilogue today....I'm processing. Thrilled to see this coming to Fimfic though. I do think I'll reread the first 32 chapters (never ever reading 33 again....ever) at some point, but not right away. You completed a massive task Somber and while the ultimate end was not what I would have done, I am happy to see Blackjack's journey reach a sort of end. Cheers mate

O, Now this work of art gets put up here. I went looking here a while ago and thought I was going crazy because I couldn't find it. I haven't said it yet, but Congrats Somber on finishing the longest thing I have ever read. I actually decided to re read from the beginning in hopes that by the time I caught up to where I was (ch 73) It would be finished. And then you go and finish it like 5 months later and Im only on chapter 23.

I look forward to catching up and finishing blackjacks story. It was and still is one hell of a story.

At least It will be easy to find, just look in the "longest" category up top and it will probably be first once the whole thing is here

6383980 Most of the grammar etc is colloquial. As in, americans spell color and armor, whereas those that use British spelling say colour and armour. Both are correct, so I don't want to be overtly nitpicky about it. I'll just have to read around the author's writing mannerisms and only point out legitimate spelling errors like I just did.

Hell if I know. That happens to me on a sporadic basis. Sometimes I won't get updates (story updates, that is) at all, nor notifications. If it's a persistant issue, tell a moderator.

There's a bug in comment notifications that if someone responds to a comment on another chapter, the notification won't appear.

For example, say a story has one chapter and someone comments on that chapter. Upon release of a second chapter, comments on the main page automatically default to chapter two. Since two of course does not equal one, the notification doesn't appear. It's been a comment bug for some time.
