Cynical Brit.

You and I?
We've known each other for so long, but I can't quite bring myself to say just what I want to.

Sometimes I think it'd just be better if I stayed on the sidelines and kept looking out at you from afar.

A/N: Many, many thanks to Karrakaz for taking a read of this and giving his feedback.

Damn. That was a nice bit of exposition from Rainbow Dash.

Excellent take on her through the show, nicely done, dude.

Ah, another promising TwiDash. I can't wait to give it a read.

This is beautiful. And something I can easily identify with.

*reads again*

I loved this! It seemed out of character for Rainbow Dash, but that`s what makes it seem like her. She`s fragile and in love. This demands a sequel. I need a sequel. This was a great story. I must say though, I don`t think that Twilight should have been tagged for this story. She wasn`t in it. She was mentioned, but she didn`t speak.

This is just excellent. You really nailed that introspective feel, and the story left me wanting more. Well done.

"We stormed into the heart of the chaos and kicked it’s ass from our world."

I noticed an error. You want its, not it's.

Twilight is referred to a lot in this story, to the point where I think it would have failed moderation for her non-inclusion.

Also yes...
Error? What error?

Wow.... haven't read this kind of story for a long time.... It showed the other part inside of her usual character, afraid of getting reject despite her lifestyle. I simply enjoyed it, great work! :raritywink:

I want moar....
I luv it.

Really nice story, love it.

At first, one might think that this is way out of character for RD. But, when you stop and really think about it, it's totally in character. It's just the side of her character that we never see, because she hides it so well with bravado and a mile wide smirk.

Very nicely done! Have a stache! :moustache:

This... didn't actually start out as being a character study type deal...
But still...

Moar, you say?
What moar? I don't got any moar.

"You’d soften the blow and apologise until your voice was hoarse from saying sorry and mine was dead from rejecting each and every one."

I loved that line. I can't explain why, but I did.

Fantastic job on this, I love stories with an introspective on Rainbow Dash, in fact, this reminded me of my first story I ever wrote for this site, My Greatest Fear. Similar introspective with Rainbow Dash, only you based it on a potential relationship with Twilight.

Overall, nice work! Funny that right after emailing you about proofreading a story of mine, I happened to indirectly have a story on my read later list by you :twilightsheepish:

Hmmm. Not exactly a story to be listening to eerie portal 2 music and Trans-Siberian orchestra to, is it?:twilightsheepish:

But still. I could so imagine RD writing this. Good job!:pinkiehappy:

:raritydespair:OH GOD THE FEELS BOMB! I need to know what happens! You can't just leave it there!:fluttercry:

I can and I believe I did :P

I kind of like open endings.
So I can think of an ending by myself ('cause I hate unfinished buisness:derpytongue2:)

I also like to see the softer side of Dash. Thats one thing I adore in so many TwiDash stories and this is no exeption.
And every time, when Dash tell about her feelings for Twi, my heart just melt ('cause Twi is amazing:twilightsmile::heart:)

All in all it´s a great story. Tumb up and fav.

Fantastic. While still retaining the typical Twidash scenario of a secretly lovestruck Rainbow, this felt a bit more unique than most. Nothing really happened, it was all just Rainbow kind of talking or thinking to herself (or Twilight, I guess). Within this piece, we as the audience never quite experience Dash asking Sparkle as per the norm. I suppose it's up for interpretation, but I felt that it was all hypothetical, as I said, with just Rainbow thinking to herself. Which is interesting, and a somewhat new. I liked it. Liked and favorited.

Glad it kept you entertained
Thanks for the stuffs.

At certain points, you made it seem like Twilight was dead.

Hi there! I hope you don't mind, but I have adapted this fic into an audiobook on YouTube:

Author Interviewer

A little schmoopy, but I appreciate that you gave her some hope at the end.

This is now officially my headcanon for this story. Otherwise, I would have been very disappointed in myself for reading when I should be asleep, as I have stayed up for three days straight reading TwiDash.
