Solutions to war, famine, disease and societal collapse are not easily happened upon. For Celestia and Luna, the solution was a mystery for eons, until their top six battle mages forged a plan from their very essence. To unite their absolute individual powers into one worthy host. One who could put an end to the horrors plaguing the budding nation of Equestria.
Only one pony was ever worthy. His deeds and heroism ultimately culled evil and hatred from Equestria and allowed peace to reign. After this achievement, the power vanished of its own accord upon the natural death of its wielder.
However, it seems that something in the shadows has provoked the lost power's return in the form of a new carrier, and she's going to find out her true destiny through a series of literal trials by fire.

ill follow and see where this goes, some advice: pick a PoV to write from, you seem to favor third person, so why not take Dash out of the equation for writing the story? why not make it someone like Twilight, Luna, or Celestia, or even RD's Father, maybe even a wonderbolt, somebody RD would be close to in order to tell the story as she is the MC ya know?

This is very interesting and I can't wait for more. However I think that the concept of Rainbow writing the story it's unnecessary and pointless as it holds the story from being better. But still a great story and concept nonetheless.
I like this fic, but it being written by Dash seems pretty pointless
it would be better if you wrote it in 3rd person
I have to agree with the previous commenters. The perspective changes kills this story. It should either be full 1st POV or full third person. Mixing both just makes everything jarring and feel off.
You would likely get more readers if you pick one as Rainbow the weapon/superhero is a popular genre.
That said, I won't be following this story. Not because it's bad, I just don't care for the Mane Six getting superpowers/becoming superheroes stories.
Simply not my cup of tea.
I have to say, this story is really well-written and I'm looking forward to the next Chapters.
At this point, I can't actually point any serious flaws of this story. Maybe it's a little rushed? I think that scene with RD transformation and Spitfire was a bit too quick and was quite confusing.

A few things... it pains me with every second as I type this.
I am a hardcore Dash fan, and may or may not be certifiably insane. (Haven't been tested, so I could be) That said:

Now that I have that mostly out of my system, to the coherent comment. This whole ordeal has Dash mostly in character, and the superpowers are cool as heck. Though as to the 'Prismatic Pegasus' thing, Dash's father had a rainbow mane in 'Games Ponies Play' so you may want to address that. Other than that though (fanboyism aside) this is a great story, and the present-tense interludes are refreshing from my usual fiction. Keep it up!
EDIT: Reading other comments, people don't seem to like present-Dash... not sure how I feel being the first to comment positively about her. Whatever, I can say what I want.
