Octavia had once lived the life of a a noble. Under the reign of her tyrannical mother to be shaped into a ‘perfect’ mare, Octavia’s only comfort came from music. When that only joy is about to be taken away from her at her arranged wedding, she runs away to the first train leaving Trottingham. From there, she ends up in Ponyville, where she meets a rather mute, and irritable DJ named Vinyl Scratch…
Most of the time. She speaks, but not often. More so than when Octavia was able to speak her mind. Will the two be able to heal from the wounds that made them this way, or will Octavia’s mother be able to track her down and ruin everything that has formed between the two musicians?

After the Battle of the Bands, Sonata finds herself dumped by her friends and ends up staying at Canterlot High, hopefully with the help of a few of the students and two new kids she can fit in, hijinks are sure to ensue

Radio. The first national broadcast across Equestria is about to happen. But even as radio towers are raised across the nation, Princess Twilight calls upon three musicians to make it truly historic.

If radio is to be more than a passing fad, how can it prove its worth? And if faraway music is to be heard in ponies' homes across the land, what song shall be the first to grace the airwaves?

Octavia's two greatest loves were music, and her partner. But when one of these loves robs her of her ability to enjoy the other, she reflects on which she values most.

What should I start this with? Like ‘Dear diary!’ or what? Not sure if this sort of stuff is something for me… but ok, Octy said it would help me decrease my ‘anger’ how she called it, so let’s try this, at least for a few days. Do I have to introduce myself? I mean, hopefully I’m the only one who reads this, and I’m pretty sure I know my name. But I also like to see it written somewhere, so screw it.

Vinyl Scratch knows a lot about electronic music. She knows how it works, she knows its sub-genres, she knows how to create it, and she's got a deft ear when it comes to analysing it.

Other ponies? They're typically not so clued up, and that annoys her.
