After realising her dream was not playing in the Canterlot elite Octavia moves back to Manehattan. Though how will Vinyl react when her former best friend in the world comes back after not having spoken in five years? Will their relationship ever be the same, or have they both changed?

A/N After I had to cancel my old VinylxTavi fic I decided that I would start a new one. There's really no similarities from the last fic to this so don't fret if you have not/have read it. Now I'll have to give a huge shoutout to NotTheOP for editing my story once more. That guy is my savior!

Octavia, a successful mare with a great career, felt like something was missing in her life. Something that should be there wasn't. Seeing that empty chair... It had nothing and yet all of the answers. A physcial metaphor for the emptiness she was feeling inside, but was not facing.

It's a quiet walk home for two mares after their individual nights of music and noise. All they plan to do is go home and sleep. Little do they know, they will unexpectedly run into each other and have an interesting talk between old friends. Why does Vinyl always wear those violet shades even when she isn't performing for a crowd? First MLP One Shot. Comments are well appreciated. Thorax is a junior processor, class Q, and has lived his entire life in the hive, yet he dreams of things bigger. Grander. Much more important than watching pH levels in vats all day. Wouldn't you know it, his application to the espionage services gets accepted, too! Maybe he really is going places!
Except he nearly flunked the exam, and knows nothing of the outside world. Regardless, Queen Chrysalis charges him with a very important mission: Spying on the inhabitants of Ponyville, especially Twilight Sparkle.

It's been three months since Vinyl was forced to move out of Octavia's house.
The cellist couldn't handle the constant arguments that were filling their daily lives together.
Octavia's friends and family support her decision to get away from the DJ by offering all the help she needs.... even a bit too much....

Octavia still gets angry whenever Vinyl Scratch, or anything related to her (like her wub-powered dishwasher) is ever mentioned in a conversation. She wants her friends and family to stop pestering her about it for that part of her life is done.....

This story is a sequel to Who Am I?

Octavia has a private performance for Princesses Celestia and Luna coming up. Unfortunately, her cello has seen better days, so she heads to the mall to buy a new one. Vinyl comes with her and insists that they go on a date, so they do, and Octavia decides to make this date very memorable for her D.J.

Vinyl Scratch and Octavia get an apartment together, and nothing out of the ordinary happens. Just two ponies, sharing a nice apartment, in the nice city of Manehattan... Okay, just kidding. That all went down the gutter the moment Octavia met the party pony. In reality, there's partying, drunkenness, loud music, explosions, banging your roommate, and more situations that Octavia can't even comprehend. Well, that's the life she had gotten herself into.

Just a weird, little story I'm trying out.
