A parent will do anything for her children, even it means giving them up so that they will be safe from dangers and live in a peaceful life, despite the pain that comes for the parent.

That pain is something Princess Amore has gone through for one thousand and fifteen years, but now after being restored from her imprisonment by her fellow subjects, the time is upon her kingdom, and she wants her daughter back. Even if that means saving her adoptive Canterlot family from the Storm Kingdom.

Twilight finds a rare rejuvination spell and tries to fix Fizzlepop's horn. The spell works but with one major side effect; It turns Fizzlepop into a one year old foal. Time goes by and with no cure in sight and Fizzlepop's magic surges are getting out of control. Twilight's only option is to send Fizzlepop to magic daycare with Flurry Heart to learn to control her magic surges.

After hearing so much fun that her cousin Silverstream has been having at the School of Friendship, Princess Skystar wants to join her there, feeling like her mother Queen Novo doesn’t have time for her anymore. Unfortunately, Novo is less than willing, remembering what happened when Twilight tried to steal the Pearl of Transformation, and wanting her daughter to stay and become a princess.

With applications due in a week, will Skystar be able to convince her mother to let her go to the School and break down the emotional barriers that inhibit them both? Will Queen Novo finally be able to put the past behind her and accept her daughter’s wishes? It’s complicated….

Sequel: The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From Home

A young Floridian boy and his father take a boat trip to a remote island. But when an ocean storm hits, the boy is whisked away to the magical land of Equestria; more specifically, Mount Aris.

At the same time, Silverstream has just finished school for the year at the School of Friendship and is upset since her friends from the school don't have any time to visit her at Mount Aris. She first finds the boy unconcious and later decides to help the boy find his lost father when he awakens from being unconcious.

After spreading the world of the Storm King's demise, Tempest Shadow feels it is time to further atone for her role in his attrocities by leading an attack on Klugetown to liberate the slaves being imprisioned and sold there. After a rousing speech to convince Equestria's Royal Guard, and an appeal to Queen Novo's desire to make up for years and years of cowering in Seaquestria, an army of ponies and hippogriffs is ready to shatter Verko's hold on the town. With Tempest Shadow, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and the other five Element Bearers leading the charge, victory is all but assured.

What's more, two of the brave creatures among this army are about to have meetings that will significantly alter the course of their lives.

Gallus wouldn't trade the world for his friends. Whether it be Smolder's competitive attitude, Silverstream's excitement, or Sandbar's calm demeanor, they're the best friends a griffon could have. Then one day, while Starlight is sick, a(n accidentally) spell causes Gallus to gets sucked into a portal. Now he's in a world like his own, but under control by an infamous king.

After the defeat of the Storm King, Tempest Shadow had made new friends, but what about her old ones?
