This story is a sequel to Could it be... you?

Two weeks have passed since the Gala and Spike asking Twilight to be his marefriend. He had to leave soon after but is coming home just in time for Hearts and Hooves Day. Twilight aims to make their first date perfect but needs a bit of advice first..

Spike has secrets. Secrets he isn't proud of. Secrets which clog up his thoughts to the point of needing to shout them out... This is why he has a diary. He converts all rage, hate, worry, fear, embarrassment and even crushes to simple text on a page. But this has continued to the extent that he is paranoid of anypony reading a single word of it...

So what happens when the diary mysteriously disappears?

Fluttershy, feeling that motherly need, secures herself a mail order orphan. Will she be up for the challenge of mothering one of Equestria's most unique creatures that defies classification or description? Will her friends be there for her as they always have? And what about Discord, Fluttershy's long time friend and the one indirectly responsible for all of this confusion... Will he find something that he wasn't aware he was looking for? Will Spike finally find somebody he can relate to? All of this and more...

An important note. The stories in the sidebar all tie in with this story, providing background elements and filling in characters and settings. Reading those will cause a number of things to make a lot more sense.

This is mostly going to be a slice of life story, with elements of fitting in, finding your place in the world, and the need for unconditional positive regard.

This takes place in an alternate verse, at some point in the near future. It is going to start out rated "E" for everyone, but might get some interesting humour in there later, which may require a "T" rating. We'll see. Tags will be added as the story progresses.

Jerry was a broken man, working at an unrewarding job, slowly losing the fight against a depression born from paternal abuse and resentment. With no surviving family or friends beyond hollow acquaintances, he turned to drink in order to dull the pain of the same routine and all its awful reminders.

In one night, lost amidst the haze of inebriation and regret, his old life was reduced to nothing more than the ashes of a bad memory. Reborn into an unfamiliar world, and with a body just as alien, how will he adapt with nowhere to call home?

But not all of the universe is under protection; there remain several patches of space unprotected by Guardian influence. In one of these Sovereign Systems rests a particular planet, Pax Harmonia, full of many creatures and governments; the most notable being the Kingdom of Equestria.

When a sole Guardian appears before the rulers of Equestria, Princesses Celestia & Luna, and asks for a favor from old acquaintences, the peaceful country will be forced to deal with the concequences of letting a creature out of myth twice fold live amongst them: not only a Green Lantern... but a human. A young, cocky human named Hal Jordan...

An alternate version of "Ponyville Confidential", but unlike my first two stories, this one actually begins towards the end of the episode, and will also be published in four parts. Inspired by Splash Surfer 216's "Ponyville Runaways", this is a concept that I think would've made a great two-part (or even three-part) story arc for the series. The Cutie Mark Crusaders, feeling no longer welcome in Ponyville after being exposed as Gabby Gums, decide that the only thing left for them is to run away from home. How will their friends, and family react when they realize what's happened? And what will happen with Diamond Tiara?

I mean no disrespect to the people responsible for the show, nor do I claim ownership of My Little Pony. I also DO NOT claim credit for Splash Surfer 216's work. I just loved his idea, and wanted to do my own version. This fanfic is purely for fun, and is simply my opinion.

Note from author: Some of you may remember my botched first attempt at this story, and again, I apologize for that, especially to Splash Surfer 216. I honestly didn't mean for that to happen. The truth is, I jumped the gun when I published it the first time, and didn't realize how much I'd messed up until after I did so. I sincerely hope that this time will be different.

Life has returned to normal after the defeat of Discord, the Spirit of Chaos. With this, Flash and his friends are once again enjoying their life in Ponyville. But as life in Ponyville has shown them time and time again, things are not what they always seem. With this in mind, Flash and friends find the next chapter in their lives to be crazier than before in the land of Equestria.

Rainbow Dash finally finds the courage to confess her love to Twilight. Unfortunately, Twilight does not feel the same way. But Rainbow Dash refuses to give up. She figures, rather than trying to steal Twilight's heart with romance and flowers, she'll take a different approach. One that is much more forward than the usual.

Note - this fic will have some sexual themes. There will be pervy Dash.
