Everyone has earned a well earned rest, especially with festival coming up and after dealing with so many enemies, but even in their sleep it seems they are not safe, as yet another new foe strikes at their most vulnerable, attacking their very dreams and resurrecting their darkest nghtmares...

(death tags refer to mention of death but not refer to anything too explicit otherwise, and suicide tag is for something that again is more about impication and nothing truly explicit)

In the Grim Darkness of the 11th Millenium, there is only War. A Northern Fortress of the Imperium of Ponykind has come under assault from Discord's legions, and the God-Empress herself leads the vanguard to liberate the land.

But it soon becomes apparent that a much greater struggle is at hand, one that could lead to the destruction of the entire world...

After falling in love with Cresselia, Darkrai was banished to Equestria by a corrupted Arceus.

He wants to take out his anger on Equestria and seeks residents in Ponyville.

Will he believe in the magic of friendship? Will he ever see his true love again? More importantly will he survive Princess Luna?

What do you get when you get when you combine Lauren Faust’s MLP:FiM and David Mitton’s TUGS? I’m about to answer that.

Bear in mind this is my first story to post on this site, or on the Internet in general. What’s more, I dare say this is the first story on this site that will feature TUGS. That being said, if anyone spots any grammar errors of any kind, feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Meet our new friend. He wakes up in the hospital with a major case of amnesia and because of a series of events, he’s tossed back and forth between PonyVille and Canterlot and sometimes even further. His trials won’t be pretty and I can’t guarantee that there will be any friend that can fully comfort him. Will he make it or lose his sanity to an ancient overlord that defies all logic? On a starry night of her making, Luna detects a disturbance in the dream world. When she moves to investigate, she encounters a horrific creature of terrible power and ill intent. This is a kind of nightmare she has never encountered before in her long years of dream walking, made all the more disturbing due to its ability to possess innocent ponies.

But there is something else intruding upon the dreams of Equestria: a small, spherical swordsman that seems to be dedicated to the total destruction of the formless shadows, heedless to any harm that may come to ponies caught in the crossfire.

It falls to Princess Luna, Princess of the Night and defender of dreams to discover the nature and purpose of the invading masses of darkness. As well as to see if the masked swordsman's intentions can be bent from pure destruction to preservation.

Ninja related crimes have recently spiked within Equestria, and Canterlot is no exception. It's gotten so bad, in fact, that the Royal Sisters themselves have been taken hostage by the sneaky ponies and dragged off to some unknown location. What's left of the Equestrian government now employs the help of the only duo that can save them in this hour of need. Now Twilight Sparkle and her BBBFF Shining Armor have to answer one question:

"Are you bad enough dudes to rescue the Princesses?"

I got the idea after listening to the song this story name sake is from and some other elements similar.
