Twilight finds that she is unable to leave her house, as the days pass by she must learn to break the silence or become a victim of it.

Every new day bringing forth a key to her escape, though only those not watching through the rose colored lens may spot it.

guiding her to a mysterious grotto, deep in the Everfree Forest...

I have been struggling with story-writer's block.
This story is partially an expression of that,
and also of my appreciation for these two wonderful ponies.

There used to be a monastery that served as the home for the bat ponies, Luna's personal servants. But then Nightmare Moon happened and the bat ponies were forced to hide away from the world and live in secrecy, hidden under a spell. But now that Nightmare Moon has been vanquished, Princess Luna decides to take the spell off and reveal the monastery, along with the bat ponies. The abbot is reluctant and afraid of the outside world and only reveals the monastery for a short amount of time each night.

One night, when Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon decide to explore it, something strange happens. A monster, the pony of shadows appears and closes the gates of the monastery. The abbot is even more scared, Luna is furious and our two ponies are trapped.

But what really is the true nature of the pony of shadows? Could it be just a distraction? A work of deceit, to keep the monastery hidden?

Lyra has many questions and she's going to find an answer to all of them.

The Battle City Tournament has begun. Spike Drake is a contestant who is in it to win. While he duels, he will gain more cards. However, there's trouble in town. With his Millennium Collar, he keeps in contact with his friends to make sure they're safe, and keeps tabs on rivals, and a villainous group known as the Thestrals. The Thestrals are looking for something in Canterlot, but what exactly are they looking for? Nobody knows, but they are ruthless towards people who stand in their way. Will Spike be able to stop them, or will he fall victim to their evil ways?

Pinkie Pie's abilities have confused ponies for as long as she's been around. Her very existence is an oddity, and maybe there's a reason for that after all.

From the strange way she showed up to her parents, to the moment something went wrong when Twilight practiced a new kind of magic around her, Twilight has found one thing consistent in her new studies of Pinkie Pie:

Things are not always what they seem to be. Neither are ponies.

When the Mane 7, after being able to survive a good part of their life as friends in High School get into a series of events that concern their identity, possessing magic ever since Sunset Shimmer's appearance into the world, they eventually come across an evil that existed way before they were born (according to their ages). And this evil would harm others in ways they never saw before. This would be a harsh wake-up call.

Helping out an organization or two who would benefit them, all seven girls were getting the feeling they were going to be used. But they'd rather protect those around them than letting things go.

They keep three things in mind as they'd go on a journey they never went to before:
- For peace
- For Canterlot
- For friendship
