After so long, the barrier preventing the monsters of the underground from feeling the sunlight on their skin (or fur, scales, bones, etc.) has shattered. Everyone is exploding with anticipation to see the horizon from the top of Mt. Ebott, to feel the clean fresh air, and to experience the wonders of the surface. Giddy excitement turns to confused shock when everyone finds them self not atop a mountain overlooking the sunrise, but in a dark forest with an air of fear in the mist at their feet.

The lives of the residents of Ponyville get a little more interesting when seven visitors unlike anything Equestria has ever seen appear out of the Everfree forest. While they are intimidating at first (especially a certain blue one), they are quite friendly once you get to know them. There are only a few problems, they have nowhere to stay, and many more of their kind are coming.

Crossover between Undertale by Toby Fox and MLP:FiM. Set at the times of the True Pacifist ending and before the Season 4 finale respectively. Moderate spoilers for Undertale.

Derpy was on her regular mail route when a sudden crash caused her to meet the most peculiar creature. A little creature called Temmie. Now, she finds herself promising to help the little guy get home. Little does she know, the creature has a charm that will make anypony want to befriend the lovable little guy.

Long ago, the Monsters and Humans fought a great war. The Monsters lost, and were sealed in the Underground. It would take the power of seven human souls to break the barrier that kept them imprisoned. They only had six. And so the Monsters waited and hoped, praying that another human would find their way to the Underground. Some thought the seventh soul would give their King the strength to break the barrier. Some dreamed of a human who would be their friend, and save them all...or had nightmares of one who would bring back the war.

...but nobody came.

...but somepony did.

Eons after the war, with no way to tell how much time had passed above, a tiny blue filly with wings and horn fell into the underground, calling for her Mama. None knew the poor creature's nature or origins...but her soul was powerful with magic, even more so than a human soul.

None can know what will come...of this little 'Woona'.

The Cakes got an order for a certain treat, one of the ingredients calls for a certain berry, and is known to grow only on the Everfree Forest. Pinkie gladly agrees to fetch the berries, and decides to take a break while she's there. Though strange things begin to happen, she decides to end her break early and goes back to the Bakery, until she is stopped by a strangely comical hooded skeleton.

Since Apple Bloom developed a love of potion making and an interest in the theory behind magic, she recognizes what an honor it would be to study there. But that would also mean being the only non-unicorn student to ever attend, leaving her friends and family, and moving to a strange city... and that's if she can pass an entrance exam designed to select the most magically gifted unicorns.

Spike has never wanted more than to be Twilight's number one assistant. But when Twilight points out that there's a pony right in front of him who needs an experienced assistant even more than she does, it means considering a life where he's making the most of his talents... but one without Twilight by his side.

For both of them, facing hard decisions are just part of growing up.
