Applejack has always had her eyes on Spike, but never was able to get close enough to him alone to express her feelings. After saving Spike from the timber wolves in the Everfree forest, Spike insists that he must become her assistant and do whatever is asked from him. Applejack sees this as a golden opportunity to show Spike that she loves him.

This is my first take on the romance genre, I'm not sure how this will turn out. All I ask is that you rate and be nice with your opinions.

Discord's reformation has left him both elated and confused. He didn't really know how to be anything other than a villain. Wandering around the castle one day, he experiences a flashback of his life before he became the villain, when he was just a silly teenager in love with a woman far out of his league. His flashback paralyzes his body and causes him to whack his head off Celestia's throne, concussing him and leaving him bedridden until he recovers. He requests a visit with his only friend, the pony who reformed him, Fluttershy. As Fluttershy tends to Discord's wound, Discord starts to feel a strange tug in his heart that he thought he'd never feel again. It doesn't make any sense to the draconequuis, but then again.... What's the fun in making sense?

Fluttershy is the shiest girl at Equestria High school, Discord is the schools residential super senior. She's his best friend, the one he couldn't live without. He is the friend her family disapproves of. Not that he really cares, but she does, so he'll at least try to be nice to them, and her friends. She'll try to keep her brother from killing her oddest friend, and listen as he complains about their principal. They both have to try to survive a year in high school.

This story is a sequel to Pound My Pumpkin

Fluttershy was Discord's first friend in his entire life. When nopony else was willing to give him a chance, she was determined to find the good inside him, the good even he doubted was there, and she found it. She awoke him to goodness, and taught the embodiment of Chaos what it meant to live in Harmony. But such lessons don't happen in a single day. Some take a lifetime.

Over time, both began to realize it was more than that. Discord was always coming back to see Fluttershy, spending time with her more than anyone else. It was obvious that, before long, something special would brew.

But things aren't as simple as either might wish. One is Harmony, the Element of Kindness. The other is the Spirit of Chaos. Can they make what they have work? Or will the difference in their natures be too drastic?

When Fluttershy wakes up to find Discord making breakfast in her kitchen, she knows it's going to be an interesting day, but then she discovers why he's come to see her: Discord wants a pet.
This can only end well.

The friendship of the unlikeliest of pairs, it is normal for everyone to want someone to listen even if that person doesn't completely understand them. For Discord, Fluttershy is his only friend -his best friend- one that he cares about more than anything. For Fluttershy, Discord is her oddest friend, but the one that needs her kindness the most.
