In the far future of Equestria's history, ponies and the other species of their world have ventured out to live in all the wondrous corners of their sparkling galaxy. Now, the spiral arms hold both the borders of six great civilisations and vast unclaimed regions of glittering stars.

Starships of all shapes, designs, and sizes now carry their crews as they seek adventure, fame, fortune, curiosity, or for some...to discover the secrets of the galaxy's turbulent past. But to many others, it's simply their day-to-day job to haul cargo and make a life in the space between worlds. To be one of the thousands who keep the galaxy running.

The crew of the small vessel all came from different places, desiring different things. Whether it was their wish to do this to prove themselves, their need for the money to save a loved one, their ambition to make a name across the stars, or having to make do with a path in life they hadn't expected to find their dream. But no matter their mixed origins, no matter their unassuming nature, they have one truth of the galaxy to discover.

That the black leaves few without trials if they wish to find a home within its both beautiful and foreboding expanse.

Through corporate greed and the pillage of the land, companies have marketed magic to the masses. Promising the gifts of Enhanced Magical Prowess in every aspect of your life and even non-natural born gifts through science and magical extraction. Gone are the blue skies and rainbows, long since replaced by brown and shades of grey. Dingy, an earth pony mare, blends perfectly into the landscape around her, largely unnoticed by many and always overlooked.

Being short of hoof with her finances, she submits to clinical trials for extra money to pay rent with Spark Industries. Little did she know that this simple cash grab would turn into such a tangled web of disaster. Leaving behind anypony she ever knew she is sent far into the future, where things were not what she expected at all.

Finding solace in the only voice she has, Dingy struggles to keep her sanity in a world with nopony in it and somehow manage to survive and find her way back home.

These are the voyages of the Canterlot ghoul Lemon Frisk. His mission: to find the Meaning of Unlife. His continuing perils: crazed raiders, feral ghouls, overzealous rangers, deranged robots, and a mare who won't stop poking him.

If you really care about plot, it's about Frosty and Violet (From the sleeper hit Fallout: Equestria - Memories!) experimenting with the wonders of reality-bending magic! Because somewhere in an alternate universe, there's a Frosty doing something needlessly reckless.

Most of these will be crossovers with other things. All of these will be written at 2am or later because I'm a crazy poni. Updates will be intermittent since I'll upload these as they are written. These'll also be editor-less since I think I know what I'm doing.

A Pegasus pony wakes to find himself in a stable testing room with few memories and only a letter from his sister to remind him of his past, and some un-natural abilities. As he makes new friends and reunites with old friends the true nature of the Forgotten Wasteland gets revealed, as well as signs of other survivors of The Vault's Experiment. Starting with almost less magic than a baby unicorn Silver Aura can only barely use telekinesis and must learn how to use the abilities granted to him by The Vault.

A loyal Conscript’s duty is to die for the Motherland, a convicted Flak trooper’s duty is to lay waste to enemy armor. But they are similar as they are merely the beginning of a regular Soviet armored column’s advance, and alas they serve nothing more than just cannon fodder, people swept away in the misery of the War of the Three Powers.

But two soldiers of these very roles beg to differ, as they awaken in post-apocalyptic Equestria, a world worse to wear than their own. Their purpose is unknown and with no clear objective in sight or mind, the only thing to do is to survive.

Caskade had endured the loss of his mother through escaping life through flying. Dealing with the loss of a loved one takes its toll on a family, especially when it is somepony as close as your own mother. Though his world was seemingly falling down around him, it would not be until a young mare by the name of Whistles came into his life that he would finally begin to heal his wounds.

Through finding strength in her, Caskade finds a new way to cope with his tragic loss and learn to smile again. Though, the price to be paid for happiness would soon prove to be far greater than he had ever imagined it to be.

[Note: Spoilers for Fallout: Equestria- The Last Sentinel included. To be safe, it is suggest to read to at least the Interlude, though reading beyond is recommended.]

Frost Windchill isn't the only one in the Wasteland with a story to tell. With many years under his belt, the storyteller has met many others during his travels. Some were heroes. Some weren't. The Wasteland, after all, isn't kind to heroes.

Off the Record is a compilation of side-stories that take place in the universe established by The Last Sentinel, ranging from post-apocalyptia all the way to before the Lunar Exile. Posting will have no regular schedule but instead will be done on the author's whim. Voting for the next segment may also occur, so keep your eyes peeled on the author's blog.
