After a long term at Canterlot High School, the Rainbooms and Human Twilight can't wait to go on their camping trip to the Everfree Forest. A veritable utopia of flowers, trees, wildlife, and more, it seems the perfect place to bunker down and relax for a while.

Or at least, it would be, if it wasn't facing the threat of being cut down by the ruthless Ms Miasma, who wants to create a new city in place of it. With the forest almost bankrupt, it's up to Sunset Shimmer, her friends, and a mysterious girl named Gloriosa to save it from the wicked Miasma.

But what secrets does the forest hold? What is Miasma's true intentions? And who is Gloriosa?

"Hey, the name's Flash Sentry... Royal Guard! And I might have once been something else as well. But that's not what's important. ... I remember things I shouldn't, and don't remember things I should. What's going on? Hopefully Doc has the answers I'm looking for... so why am I so scared of asking?"

After dealing with a series of crazy events, Sonic, the Rainbooms and the others could use a nice break. What better than to spend it at Camp Everfree. However, when strange magical occurrences begin to happen, it seems there's more to this camp than what meets the eye. As they try to deal with the sudden outbreak of magic, Sonic and the rest find out there's something threatening about this sudden appearance of magic.

Sunset Shimmer has been through a lot. From magical prodigy, to runaway, to manipulative schemer, to demon, to remorseful outcast, to two-time savior of her school, Sunset has fought her way through more challenges than most people experience in a lifetime.

But now things have quieted down, and Sunset is no longer sure what to do with herself. While there are some challenges assisting the human version of Twilight Sparkle as she adjusts to life at CHS, nothing else seems very interesting. Each day goes by without magic, without adventure, with nothing but the dull routine of attending high school. Dissatisfied and restless, Sunset begins to long for life back in Equestria. Maybe if she moved back there, she would not feel quite so empty.

Princess Twilight disagrees, though, and urges Sunset to stay. She writes daily to encourage her friend, hoping to help Sunset persevere through the trials of ordinary life. She claims Sunset really can be happy in the human world.

If only Sunset can believe that.

Set between Friendship Games and Legend of Everfree.

After the long and exhausting stay at Camp Everfree, the Canterlot Wondercolts head home. On the way there, Twilight falls asleep and meets in a dream a certain someone who shouldn't be there anymore.

In Canterlot High, nothing seems to stay normal. Magic makes a day somewhat dangerous yet adventurous for Twilight Sparkle and her friends.

To a trio of students, its just a part of their school life. Join Book Worm, Champagne Barrels, and Candy Pink talk about what happened on each Equestria Girls movie! Or maybe they'll talk about boring things, who knows.

This can be connected to my Equestria Girls Shots, but it's not really that much big of a deal.

Sombra. Tirek. Paradox. Burst and his friends have faced many threats to the world, and have triumphed. But after all the duels and monster battles, they're glad to be having a break from the excitement with their school's field trip to Camp Everfree. This should be a nice, calm break from all the events that have happened. Right?
