Spike woke up, yawning on his little dog bed in the house of The Humane seven. He went to the table and poured tea in every single cup for his friends. He went over to the calendar and marked off Nov 11, it was circle, it's Spike's birthday. He waited and waited for his friends to get up and wish him happy birthday. He checked the clock, it's four minutes before eight o'clock, they're still asleep. He lifted his ear when he heard something at the front door he went over and mail in front of the door. He looked through all the letters and a birthday letter for Spike. He back to the table and opened it up. It was a birthday card that plays birthday music, when he opened it, the music began to play. He heard doors open from upstairs, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy.
The seven girls were dressed up and ready for the day, they left their bedrooms. "Morning, girls.", Sunset greeted. "Did you all have a nice sleep?"
"We sure did, Sunset.", Twilight said.
"Why, are applying that wet the bed?", Rainbow Dash asked, groaning.
Rarity rolled her eyes. "Rainbow Dash, don't be rude, you just got up.", she said.
"Yeah, none of us even do that.", Fluttershy stated.
They walked down the stairs and took their seats. "Morning, girls.", Spike greeted.
"Morning, Spike.", the seven girls said.
Spike took his seat and sat with his friends. "So, that morning routine did go quickly than it expected, didn't it? Hmm?", Spike asked.
"It sure did.", Applejack said.
"So, any post was there by chance?", Sunset asked.
Spike nodded and handed the letters to Sunset. Sunset tore the envelope open and took a look at the mail. All the letters were long pieces of paper which are bills. "Oh lord, a bit steep.", she muttered.
"What is it, Sunset?", Pinkie asked.
"Oh my goodness, these letters are all bills.", Sunset said. "I got to check to see how much we have in that safe." She walked over to the safe and did the combination. She brought out her piggy bank over to the table and dumped her money out of it. It was a few dimes. "Oh man, we're down to our last few dimes."
"To be honest, those presents weren't cheap either.", Applejack stated.
"Applejack!", Rarity shouted. "It's Spike's birthday, you shouldn't spill the beans."
Spike perked up his ears, surprisingly knowing that his friends remembered his birthday.
"Well, too late now.", Twilight chuckled. "Well, Spike, lets see what you got, shall we?"
Twilight went over to the hallway, picked up Spike's present, and brought it over to him. "Happy Birthday, Spike.", she said, giving Spike the gift.
Spike took the present and opened it, it was a leash and a collar with metal spikes on it, he raised his eyebrow, not thinking he's interested in it.
"I'd knew you'd love it.", Fluttershy said. "Here let me help you." She took the collar and hooked it around Spike's neck. She patted him on the head. "You look like someone owns you now."
"And that's not all, come look in here.", Sunset said, leading Spike to the hallway.
Spike followed his friends into the hallway and found the gift. It looked like a huge pair of fat pants. Spike cocked his head.
"I think you'll find this present addition to our modern lifestyle.", Twilight said, unwrapping the present and revealing the device that looks like half of a robot with buttons and levers for the waist. "They're techno-trousers, X-nasa, fantastic for walkies."
Rainbow Dash demonstrated to Spike on how it works. "All you do is attach the leash on the collar and program it to where you to go and long you want to go."
The robot legs began to move out the door. It dragged Spike across the floor as the robot legs walked out. Twilight laughed. "Have a nice walk, Spike.", she said, waving to her dog.
Spike got back from his walk with the techno-trousers, he was relaxing on his dog bed. "That went faster than expected.", he said.
"How are going, Spike?", Fluttershy asked.
"How were those techno-trousers?", Twilight asked.
Spike looked at his friends. "Did you pay the bills?", he asked.
"Nah, we didn't have enough money right now to pay them, I mean we've been spending a lot of money on those presents we got for you.", Rarity said.
The was ring at the door. "Huh? There's someone at the door, girls.", Rainbow Dash said. She got up and head to the door. "I wonder who that could be." She opened the door and saw a lady with blue skin and wearing a ladies' dress and hat. "Um... hey, ma'am." She didn't speak at all. "You don't even speak, do you? C'mon, we have an extra room upstairs, I'll take you there."
Rainbow Dash lead the woman upstairs, and before the lady did that, she took a look at him and stared at him in an eagle-like way. Spike looked at her and sensed something in the eyes of the woman.
The woman took her eyes off the dog and walked upstairs. She entered the room that Rainbow Dash lead her into and looked it. She didn't thought it was beautiful, it was all scrappy with wood all around and a small bed in the corner. "We've been putting a lot of work into this.", Rainbow Dash said.
The woman left and head into Spike's room. "No, wait.", Rainbow Dash said. She peaked her head into Spike's room and saw the lady going through Spike's stuff. "I don't want you in here, this is Spike's room. Would you like to see--? Oh, man." Then, she saw the woman sit on Spike's extra bed which is human sized. "No, wait, don't. Something I forgot to tell you, it's... um... no pets. Does that suit you?" The woman turned on the radio and listened to the music. Rainbow Dash sighed and relaxed her eyes. "I guess I should tell Sunset to pay those bills, now that we have an extra person to stay with us."
Sunset and Twilight were working on Spike's new room, now that the woman is moving in the house. "Cheer up, Spike, we make this nice and fresh for you at night.", Sunset said. She was working on the wallpaper. The wallpaper was purple with bones on it.
Twilight was strapped into the techno-trousers with Spike duct-taped to the back. She pushed the lever which made the right leg lift up straight across the room. Then, she pushed a button that suck up air into the sole, and it took the book. Then, she pushed the button again and dropped the book, pushed another book and dragged her to the wall. Then, she began walking up the wall and stepped onto the ceiling.
Sunset turned and saw Twilight on the ceiling. "Oh, so that's how they work, they can walk on anything.", she thought. She climbed down the ladder and head out the room. "Keep up the work with those techno-trousers." She bumped into the woman back first. "Oh, oops, sorry about that."
The woman stepped into the room and looked at Spike. Then, Spike saw the woman watching him. Then, the woman gave a strange smirk to the dog which made him concerned about her.
That night, Spike was laying down in his new bed and he couldn't sleep, he can hear the loud music in the room where the woman's taken over. He pulled the covers over his head, but that didn't work.
He moved over to the couch, but he can still hear the music from the room upstairs. He tossed and turned his body and covered his ears to block the sound, but he can still hear it. He went up to the door and banged on the door to tell the woman to turn it down. But, she couldn't hear him banging on the door.
He went outside and wrapped himself up in a blanket to get warm in his dog house, he even put ear muffs on his ears to block the sound, but he can still hear it. Then, all of a sudden, he saw the woman walking by, but the woman didn't see Spike.
The woman went into the house, turned off the lights and finally went to bed.
Poor Spike teared up and began to sob, he was now having an awful night.
Spike was waiting by the bathroom door for his turn in the bathroom. The woman's been in there for a while. The seven girls walked by him. "Lovely morning, Spike.", Twilight said.
Spike glared at the door, he was not happy with the lady around.
He was having cereal and orange juice for breakfast. His eyelids were droopy, feels like he's about to drop his head in his cereal. "Oh, man, why do I have to live my life like this?", he asked himself.
He saw the woman came out with the girls, they were all dressed nicely. They were wearing dresses in different colors, and high heels in color of their hair color. Sunset's was blue, Twilight's was red, Rarity's was purple, Rainbow Dash's was turquoise, Fluttershy's was blue, Applejack's was red, and Pinkie Pie's was magenta. "We look so festive in these dresses.", Rarity said.
"Thanks for making us beautiful, ma'am.", Sunset said.
The woman smiled and nodded, then she walked out the door. "Where do you think she's going?", Applejack asked.
"I don't know, maybe a walk.", Twilight guessed.
The girls saw Spike with his paw to his head on the table. "Are you okay, Squirt?", Rainbow Dash asked.
Spike perked his head up to the girls. "I'm doing fine, girls.", he said. "Can I speak to you for a moment?"
"What is it, Spike?", Fluttershy asked.
"The woman cannot be trusted.", Spike said.
The girls were shocked to hear what Spike said about the woman. "What?", Pinkie asked.
"No matter what she says, no matter what she tells you--", Spike started, which is interrupted by Sunset.
"But, she's helping us get the money to pay those bills that are due by the end of the week.", Sunset said.
"The woman's not who you think she is.", Spike said. "She took over my room, she's stealing things from me."
Twilight gasped. "How dare you, Spike, she would never steal anything from anybody! If you say something like that about her again, I'll... I'll put you in the dumpster!", she shouted.
"Girls, why don't you understand?", Spike asked.
"Just... SHUT UP, SPIKE!", Twilight shouted. "You can sleep in the dog house every night!"
Poor Spike was back in his dog house while his seven friends are spending a fun time with the lady. They were having tea at the dining table. He couldn't bear watching that no more, so he backed up in his dog house and packed his stuff. He turned and saw the picture of him with his friends, he was sad to see that they're now replacing him with the lady. He put the picture down, turned off the light and got out of his dog house. He was wearing his rain coat, it was raining. Before he leaves, he turned back to the house one last time.
"Good night, girls, sleep well.", Sunset called.
Spike turned away and left for good.
The woman was watching out the window, she watched Spike run away. Then, she grabbed the manual of the techno-trousers and grabbed a drill, she starting to make plans... for something. What could it be?
In the attic, there was someone sleep on the wooden floor. It was Timber Spruce, Twilight's boyfriend, he got up on his feet and wondered where he is. "Is it dark in here?", he asked. "Where am I?" Then, he felt air beneathe his feet, he fell through the ceiling of the kitchen and got stuck in the techno-trousers. He looked at them and tried to break free, but he was still stuck. "Wh-Where am I? What is this? What kind of device is this?" The machine activated and began walking out the door. He walked through sidewalks faster and faster, then he began to jump for no reason. "Holy hay!"
Spike was looking at posters on the walls. Then, he noticed one that a woman dressed as a ninja, he looked closely and recognized the eyes. "Is that... Principal Cinch?", he asked himself.
He screaming from Timber from behind. "HEEEEEEEELP! SPIIIIIIIIKE!", Timber cried.
"Huh? Timber?", Spike asked.
Timber was running really fast in the techno-trousers. He hit something and sent him flying across the city. "Sorry.", he said, crashing.
Spike's seven friends were looking for him, they felt terrible of how they treated him. "Spike!", Sunset called. "Oh, where could he be?"
"He has to be here somewhere, he couldn't just be gone for good.", Applejack said.
"I feel so bad of what I said to Spike.", Twilight said.
"What you said was a mistake, Twi, when we find him, you'll apologize to him.", Rainbow Dash said.
Then, all of a sudden, Timber came crashing in front of them. "Whoa!", he cried.
Twilight was surprised to see Timber. "Timber?", she said.
"Twilight, I'm stuck in this device and it's going crazy.", Timber panicked. "What is this?"
"Those are the techno-trousers, we got that for Spike as a birthday present.", Twilight said.
"Twilight, please, you got to find a way help me out!", Timber cried, as the trousers took him away.
The girls followed him and tried to catch Timber, but he was too fast. "How do we catch him?", Rarity asked.
"I don't know.", Pinkie said.
They saw the woman in a ninja outfit. "Who is that?", Fluttershy asked.
"I don't know.", Sunset said.
"Do you think she's a kidnapper?", Twilight asked. "Do you think she has the woman and Spike?"
"I think so.", Sunset said.
"But, lets not get caught by her, lets go back to the house.", Applejack said.
Spike followed the woman in the ninja costume all the way to a museum that has tons of old gems from the old ages. He was hidden in a box and cut a hole with a knife so that he can see what the woman's doing.
The woman used her tape measure to life her to the tallest floor of the museum. She looked inside a clear room with a precious white jewel sitting on a small pillow on half of a pillar. She then used her tape measure to carry her down to the ground safely.
The woman walked away from the museum and headed back to the house for Timber. Spike was concerned. "What does she want with a shiny jewel?", he asked himself. "I hope she's not after my friends."
Twilight was leading Timber into a bedroom where he can sleep at and be safe at night. "Twilight, are you sure I can stay in this house when you find that woman and Spike?", he asked.
"Timber, trust me, it's only for a short period of time until we find our friend.", Twilight said. A tear came down Twilight's left eye as she felt bad about how she treated Spike. "I just hope he's alright."
"Oh quit the crying and let me sleep.", Timber said as he fell asleep.
"Oh, yeah.", Twilight said. "Sorry, Timber." She slowly and quietly left the room without waking him up.
Twilight met up with her friends in the living room. "Girls, I just hope I will ever see Spike again.", she said.
"Twilight, I'm sure Spike is okay while he's out there.", Sunset said. "But, who knows if the little guy's dead or alive."
Twilight got more worried. "Oh my.", she worried. "What if he gets hit by a car, even get squashed during road kill."
"Twilight, Spike knows better, he can watch out for stuff.", Rainbow Dash said.
"I agree with Rainbow, Darling.", Rarity said. "Besides, it was his birthday the other day, he can't die on an age he just turned."
A bag rose behind Applejack. Fluttershy looked at the bag in horror. "Applejack, there's something behind you.", she whispered with fright.
"There's something behind me?", Applejack asked. Before she looked behind her, the bag caught her head.
The girls screamed with fright. Then bags came over their heads to. Everything went black and the girls fell into peaceful darkness.
Back in the bedroom, Spike came in through the window. He heard footsteps, he hid under the bed before anyone can see him. It was the girls who got kidnapped, the kidnapper walked toward the bedroom, then it turned revealing her head to Spike, it was woman in the ninja suit.
Spike gasped as he noticed the face. He watched the woman walk into the room and put the girls down. She then grabbed her controls and started to control the techno-trousers, the trousers got up and started walking out the house along with the woman.
Spike got afraid. He wanted to save his friends, but he took off after the woman instead.
The woman in the ninja outfit used her controls to make Timber, who was still sleeping, in the trousers move to the museum. Spike hid in the same place that he was hiding in when the woman peeked through the window of the museum. "I hope she doesn't hurt Timber while he's sleeping.", he hoped.
Timber was wearing a helmet that has a claw that can pick up stuff.
First, Timber in the trousers walked up the wall and onto the roof of the building. Then, the trousers walked through a vent that leads to the room where the white jewel was placed. But, there's one problem, there's security lasers all around.
The woman's head was sweating with nervousness, worrying that he might hit one of the security lasers in the room. The trousers slowly walked forward, getting equal with spot where the jewel is.
The claw came out of the helmet, grabbed the jewel, and lifted it back his head. But, there was trouble, one of the tiles that Timber was standing on came loose. It fell off, the claw swung and hit the security laser, causing a alarm to sound.
The woman gasped and panicked.
Timber heard the alarm and woke up. "What in the world?!", he asked. "What is this place? Where am I? GET ME OUT OF HERE!" He walked over to a window and sucky power held his feet permanently on the glass. "I don't understand what's happening right now. Is this some dream or what?" He screamed as the window flipped. He was once again attached to the wall of the museum. "Heavens above. This isn't a dream, this is my worst nightmare, being on a wall of a building. HELP!"
The woman got on the back of the trousers, took the jewel from the claw and put it in her back. "What's the game then?", Timber asked. "Huh, where am I?" The two went down the wall, then back on the concrete, then they headed back to the house.
Spike escaped from his box and followed the two home without being spotted.
Back in the house, Sunset, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash were still tied up together. The woman in the ninja costume came back with Timber in the trousers.
Timber was taking off his helmet. "Wow, that was so brutal.", he said. "And seriously, who in the world are you?"
The woman squinted her eyes, she ducked her head and took off the mask. The woman had light blue skin and purple hair. The woman looked up, revealing her face and shocking the girls, it was Principal Cinch, the principal of Crystal Prep who blackmailed Twilight into releasing the magic at the Friendship Games. She had an evil grin on her face.
"PRINCIPAL CINCH!?", Twilight shouted.
"That was you?!", Sunset asked.
"Yes, it was me who's in this ninja outfit.", Cinch said.
"Where's that lady that's living with us?", Rainbow Dash asked.
"Oh, that lady... was me.", Cinch said.
"That lady was you, you tricked us?", Applejack asked.
"That's right.", Cinch said.
"Why are you doing this, what do you have against us?", Fluttershy asked, fearfully.
"It's not just you all I'm after, it's Twilight and that girl in the black leather vest.", Cinch said.
"Me?", Sunset asked.
"Yes, you made my students turn against me!", Cinch shouted.
"Yeah, but you brought that upon yourself!", Sunset shouted. "You knew Twilight was going to turn into Midnight Sparkle!"
"I DID NOT!", Cinch snapped. "I wanted her to release the magic, so we can win the Friendship Games, but that failed miserably. Now that I have you two has my hostages, I'll bring you two where no one can find you again! First, I have to deal with you."
"Thank you, get me out of these trousers this minute.", Timber commanded.
"Oh, actually...", Cinch started, using the controller to move Timber into the closet behind her. "You'll be a hostage too, but you're not coming with me, you're being trapped in this closet."
"Don't make that necessary, will you?", Timber asked.
Cinch closed the closet.
"Stealing is a serious crime, you know.", Timber said. "Let me out!"
"You're not going to get away with this!", Applejack shouted.
"Eventually, I have.", Cinch said, raising her knife to cut the rope. She was cut short when she heard a voice.
"Not for long.", the voice said. It was Spike, he was holding a wooden stick in his paws.
Cinch pointed the knife at Spike, making him drop the stick. "Move to the closet.", she snarled.
Spike tried to make a run for it, but he didn't know what to do.
"Move over there and no one gets hurt!", Cinch snapped.
Spike moved over to the closet, opened the closet, got inside, and Cinch closed the closet and locked it shut. Timber and Spike were both trapped.
"No!", Twilight screamed.
"Spike, what are we going to do?", Timber asked.
Spike crawled up to the waist of the trousers. "I think I've got it.", he said. He removed the lid of the wires and played with them. The feet of the trousers moved up and down, each foot in a pattern of a direction.
"Whoa, I don't know what's going on, but this has been easy.", Timber said. The trousers lifted the closet.
Cinch looked back at the closet and tried to bust a quick move. "I changed my mind, I'm taking all of you.", she said, grabbing the girls and ran out the room.
"Someone help!", Pinkie screamed.
"I can't move my arms!", Rainbow Dash cried.
"I can't break free!", Rarity shrieked.
The closet door opened, the two escaped as they chased Cinch out the house. Cinch was about to run down the street, but she was too late. There were cops blocking the street. "But, I wasn't seen at the heist.", she said.
"How did they find us?", Sunset asked.
"I called them before I could confront her.", Spike said.
"Smart move there.", Timber said. The trousers stopped working, it ran out of power. "Now, it looks like I'm stuck in this device."
The police handcuffed Principal Cinch and about to take her to prison. "You fools cannot arrest me for this, I'm the principal of Crystal Prep, this orange girl made my own students turn against me!", she snarled.
"Tell that to the judge, woman!", one of the cops scowled. "You were the one who made everything escalated." They jabbed the Cinch in the car and off they rode.
"I'LL GET YOU BACK FOR THIS!", Cinch yelled.
"Nobody kidnaps me and my friends.", Twilight said.
"Bye, Lady.", Pinkie said.
"You think you can come in my house and disguise yourself as a woman and trick us like that?", Rainbow Dash asked in a tough tone of voice.
"That's you will banished to the moon for all that you've done.", Spike said.
Timber called a taxi to take him home. Twilight approached him to say one more thing. "Sorry you ended up in my place, Timber.", she said.
"It's okay, Twilight.", Timber said. "I will make sure I get home safely, no trouble in need." He got in the car and rolled the window down to say goodbye.
"Goodbye, Timber.", Twilight said.
"Not just goodbye, Twilight, just until the next time.", Timber said as the taxi took him away. "I bet my sister's worried about me right now.", he thought.
Twilight kneeled down to her dog. "Spike, we're really sorry we started taking advantage of Cinch more than you.", she said.
"Yeah, we didn't know it would be Cinch.", Sunset said.
"She looked so different, we can hardly recognized her face.", Applejack said.
"Then we got really upset with you, because that woman was a thief.", Fluttershy said.
"Then you went missing and we had to find you.", Rarity said.
"We're also sorry we got you those techno-trousers for your birthday.", Rainbow Dash said.
"We never knew they would be so useful for bad things.", Pinkie said.
"None of this is your fault, it's ours." ,Twilight said. "But we all want you to know how much we love you." She rubbed the Spike on the head.
Spike jumped onto Twilight and wrapped his arms around Twilight's body for hug. "I love you to, Twilight.", he said.
"So, does this mean you forgive us?", Twilight asked.
Spike gave Twilight a big lick on her cheek. "Of course I do, Twilight, I always know you would never get rid of me.", he said.
"Thanks, Spike.", Twilight said.
"Lets head home and we'll through away those trousers.", Sunset said.
Spike brought Twilight's blanket to her. "Thank you, little guy.", Twilight said sweetly. "Many thanks indeed, huh?"
"Oh yeah, definitely.", Spike said, getting comfortable in his dog bed. "Looks like everything's normal in this house again."
"Hey, girls.", Sunset said, coming in the room with a huge bucket full of quarters. "The police just gave us prize money for helping them catch Principal Cinch.", she said. "Now we can pay our bills."
"I'll start up with two of them.", Rainbow Dash said.
"And I'll go with the one when we bought the techno-trousers.", Rarity said.
"Oh, what did you do with the trousers again?", Spike asked.
"We put them in the garbage can at the curb.", Applejack said.
Spike went over to the window and saw the techno-trousers in the garbage can. "Ha, the legs are sticking out.", he chuckled.
"The garbage truck should be here any minute.", Fluttershy said.
"So much money we spent on all of the stuff is what I'm saying.", Pinkie said. "We should've paid too much for the gifts."
