There were many enemies that the Royal Sister defeated, and they ranged from pony-like creatures of shadows to spirits of divine power. Many pages of history were forgotten through time, and who knows how many enemies were defeated during the reign of the Royal Sisters or even before?

One of such long-forgotten enemies was Nicholas the Vampire King. While vampires are usually associated with lunar pegasi, also known as bat ponies, it is not true. Not completely true, at the very least.
Real vampires have long since become a part of ancient folklore. No one has seen them in thousands of years. History became legends, legends became myths, and myths turned into bedtime stories that no one takes seriously anymore.

However... Vampires still live. It is a matter of time before they come back. With the return of their king, how will the history go?

The story takes places after the Luna Eclipsed episode.

I went to find Nines Rodriguez in the Griffith Park but someone set us up. I survived, barely, but it didn't end there. There was a bloodhunt for my head, ordered by LaCroix, the man I loyaly obeyed in every situation. I couldn't go to Camarilla, they were ruled by LaCroix. I couldn't go to Anarchs because they were thinking I killed Nines. Sabbath wasn't even an option. But I couldn't get rid of this bloodhunt all by myself, I needed some ally on my side. So I went to one place that no kindred would willingly follow me. I went to the Chinatown and took shelter in Kuei-Jin. Ming Xiao welcomed me with open arms. I should have seen behind her deception but I was so desperate I swallowed everything without chewing. They threw me into the ocean, but I'm pretty sure I'm not in the ocean anymore. Somehow I found myself in another world. There is no way of going back, so I will see how high I can reach in this new world.

The story, you've heard it before surely. Long ago there were two Alicorn Princesses who ruled the lands of Equestria.
One presided over the day, and the over bore vigilance for the night. They were wise and humble, and they loved everypony very much. But, love and tolerance could not stop the uprising. The ponies were victorious, the princesses fled and Sombra became king. He elected councils to divide his power across the budding "republic". If it weren't for Supreme Commander Sombra, the war would have been extremely one sided. He knew magics that rivaled the old gods, though dark as it was, it was the only choice, and it worked. The ponies of Sequestria were finally free...

It is a lie though. Sombra's courts and councils bow to his will, the public none the wiser.What he doesn't know, is that for 19 years, the Princess of the night has walked with her in her dreams, she will do as the Princess has told her. She will restore harmony and balance to her world... Through friendship...

I'm sure this has been done before.

This is my revision of Mlp, characters and themes are darker, taking place in a pony industrial revolution. This follows the life and times of a mare named Nightingale , her five friends, her loyal and ever over worked assistant as they try to handle the problems that always seem to conveniently present themselves at the most inconvenient times. I do plead, don't judge me on originality (or there lack of).

Many months have passed since Twilight Sparkle, now crowned Princess of Equestria, managed to conduct an interview with Midnight Wind, an amiable batpony that came to stay in Ponyville. She gained incredible answers, yet emerged with a lot of questions still. Now, as another meeting is set, she desires to know even more about his species.

But some tapes are never meant to be shared with the public...

Twilight Sparkle will not pass up on this incredible opportunity – a batpony stallion came to stay in Ponyville and is willing to share knowledge and information! It would allow to finally fill all the gaps in Equestrian knowledge about their species!

Princess Twilight Sparkle is keen on bringing the Magic of Friendship to everyone, not only the ponies of Equestria. Accepting an invitation she received a long time ago, she decides to visit the domain of batponies. Alongside Midnight Wind, a Nightguard member she befriended, she sets off on a perilous journey to the land of Noctraliya.

But can she fulfill her task when faced with internal rivalries, political intrigues, cultural aversions... and a funny feeling growing gradually in her heart?

Even after Twilight's spell, Fluttershy still finds herself transforming at night. But instead for apple juices, she wants blood. Each night she sneaks into one of friends homes and tries to drink their blood, which will turn them into bat ponies. Spike has to prevent this from happening. Luckily for him, the CMC are here to help. Now the four of them must evade the turned mane six and warn all of Ponyville before they are all turned into Bat Ponies!

He vanishes into the night, almost faster than Rainbow Dash can fly. She tells her friends and they tell her that she's seeing things, however, Twilight knows that she saw some pony that night. So she decided to venture in to the Everfree Forest and find this pony. What she discovers throws her entire reality for a spin...

One Nightmare Night the Cutie Mark Crusaders decide to stay out too late and take a fateful walk down the path to Fluttershy's house at the edge of the Everfree Forest. After getting turned around and wandering for hours, the three find a stranger in the Forest that knows the path back to Ponyville. However, the price to pay is a terrible curse on Sweetie Belle, one that threatens to ruin her life and the lives of her best friends. Despite that, the curse may have a chance to bring the Crusaders closer than ever before.
