It's been ten years since Twilight had met Cadence that chilly October day. Now a young teenager, she's looking to reconnect with her old sitter in hopes that she can get Shining and Cadence together again. But like always, some things are easier said than done.

Twilight Sparkle thought that she had felt all that happiness could offer. She had perfect friends, an amazing mentor, and even became part of the Princess monarchy. She was as happy as she could be.

Until one day the news came...

Princess Twilight Sparkle was going to be a mother. And she never knew just how beautiful being a mother could be.

This fic was inspired by the picture, and the title came from it as well. The picture and title do not belong to me. I would like to thank Hikariviny for drawing such a wonderful picture. It inspired me to write the single best thing I've ever written. I don't wanna sound modest, but this story is the one that's most likely to be featured out of all of my stories. Well, I sure didn't expect some girl to just show up out of nowhere. Poor girl. She's got to have amnesia, or something, (although she insists she doesn't) because even though she looks to be about my age, she's claiming that she isn't human. Or wasn't. Great, she's delusional, too.
But you know what? That's okay. She's a nice girl. She just seems to be confused. I suppose I can let her stay a while until she sorts things out.

Cadence is the most popular girl in school. Shining isn't really popular at all. But when Cadence shows an interest in watching his sister, their worlds collide and suddenly they realize they aren't so different after all -with Twilight stuck in the middle of it.

Twilight Sparkle, a new ruler in Equestria, has only been a princess for a few weeks. She just returned from an adventure in a new world that she never knew of, but she still doesn't feel ready for life as a leader. On the other hoof, Flash Sentry is just a new member of the Canterlot Royal Guard. As a member of the guard, his job is to protect the three princesses in Canterlot, as well as tour with them wherever they go. This turns into a romantic relationship, and they live happily ever after.

Actually, no they don't. That only happens in fairy tales.

Rated Teen for suggestive scenes and innuendo jokes, but if you know me you know that my stories are always the PG rated version, where the acts aren't described after kissing or touching. This story takes place after Equestria Girls but before Season 4, not including any new developments in the series or comics after the movie.
