Rainbow Dash is gone.
Two Years ago she performed a trick to eclipse all others, and vanished without a trace. Everypony has started to get over it, although for five ponies the loss is to great even now. In respect the Wonderbolts do a performance for her at the site of her death. However, a certain Cyan mare is hard to kill, and is loyal to the ends of the universe, she can say that with certainty now, she’s been, and now she’s back. But what is she wearing, and where did she go for two years? Buckle up, for in Equestria there may be peace, but in the 41st Millennium, there is only war.

No one expects to go to sleep and never wake up. There's always tomorrow, or the next day. There was always time. So, when a young life is extinguished before its time, it becomes especially difficult to handle. When the spirit of that life is forced to face and accept her death, what will become of her afterlife? Scootaloo will soon be faced with this tragedy, and this is her story.

Twilight Sparkle was suffering the most horrible depression after Rainbow Dash was killed by Pinkie Pie in what was known as the Cupcakes Incident, AKA the Horror of Sugar Cube Corner, and also nicknamed the Rise of Pinkamena. She was going to make sure that didn't happen. She wasn't going to let Pinkie take Twilight and Rainbow Dash's future together from her this time. This time would be different.

After an unexpected spa day with Rarity, Rainbow Dash looks just so cute you just can't stand it. No, really, she's adorable! It's downright hard not to do something about it. You know, like booping her on the nose. Nothing bad could possibly come of doing that, right?

Ponyville was mostly evacuated when the Shadowbolts began their siege of the town. A few decided to stay and fight for their homes. One filly in particular probably shouldn't have.

To be fair, I did write this on a manic depressive high while listening to sad music. So if this story seems way far out there, that's why.

As a filly, Scootaloo was always ashamed of never being able to fly like all the other pegasi could at her age. She hopes that maybe things will change and that she will finally be able to fly, but she soon realizes that not being able to fly isn't the only problem she's faced with.

This story is a sequel to Rainbow Factory

With Scootaloo dead, Rainbow Dash's last threads of sanity are snapped, and she plummets into a dark insanity. However, her suffering is not alone. Word of the Rainbow Factory is out, and all pegasi are faced with horrible discrimination. In a world of hate, distrust, and pain can any light shine through?
