A/N: This story is a prequel to “My Little Alien: Friendship is Frightening,” and takes place after the events of, “The Fall of Sunset Shimmer,” and before Twilight Sparkle earned her cutie mark.

Princess Luna has slowly readjusted to the changing times and changing world of Equestria that she has returned to. There is still much she has to learn and she's made peace with that fact.

But then the princess of the night receives a bombshell of a surprise: She has a niece. And not just any niece, this niece is an alicorn princess just like Luna.

What will it be like for Luna when she meets her niece for the first time? And what is this "Cadence" like?

That of Anonymous the human, a strange creature, lacking in magic, however not lacking in courage. As he was the first being in just over three thousand years to ask Celestia out on a date.

Luna is eagerly awaiting her sister, to hear all the juicy details about her sister's night out.

The day had started like any other. But had ended so terribly. Now one member of the CMC is gone, and the other two are shattered, overwhelmed with sorrow and guilt.

Can they ever forgive themselves?

An object of unknown origins crash lands in the no-pony's land between Equestria and Gryphon territory. Princess Luna and Twilight Sparkle race to beat the Gryphons to the crash site, but discover more to the crash than they originally thought.

Cadance and Luna are both well aware of what a bat pony is, but Luna claims that they aren't real. What could the reason behind this possibly be?
