Discord is a new draconequus now, and sworn to use his powers only for good, but that doesn't mean he can't still have some chaotic fun while on the job. Hey, everyone. OtterMatt here. Just for the record, I’m not coming back to FimFic. Not ever. I’m sorry to say it, but my life has moved on, as it were, and writing just isn’t a part of it anymore. That being said, I love these stories of mine very much. There’s a lot of myself that I put into them, and at least a couple people have told me that these stories meant a lot to them as well. So, for those people, and for anyone else who enjoys my work in the future, I’m charging my friend Spabble here with curating my completed stories. Twilight and Spike grew up and did everything together since forever. But following the events of Magical Mystery Cure, Twilight is now a princess. She grew up first. Spike realizes he needs to catch up, and so makes a choice to do the same.

All the while, there is a secret, one that involves Princess Celestia, our favorite little dragon, and a certain sense of heritage.

This is a story of how the grand spirits of Tyranny and Pride fought in ages long past, battling over the future of the world 'neath stars newly born on a nameless field in the distant north. It is a story of blank skies, of strange endeavors, and of things prehistoric. At least, that's how it starts.

The Crystal Empire makes Equestria look young, and Twilight Sparkle is about to find out just how old Celestia really is.
