Everyone knows Sugarcoat as being a stuck-up, smart-mouthing, hyper-intelligent, soon-to-be valedictorian with grades who surpassed everyone at Crystal Prep after Twilight left for Canterlot High.

But, much like everyone, Sugarcoat had a childhood. And when she tells her story to the other Crystal Preppers she finds to be her acquanitances, they'll find out that she was much, MUCH different as a kid.

My name is Twilight Sprinkle, and my passion is donuts—from the delicate morsels I serve at elegant cocktail parties to the hearty pastries enjoyed by hard-working ponies who get up early. I don’t have friends, I don’t have books, and I sure as the sun don’t have any wings. I don’t care whether you’re here for revenge, for romance, or for a favor. On May 23, 2015, I woke to find myself transformed into some kind of horned alien horse, and everyone else has vanished. I searched for survivors and I found one; however, she is much younger than I was prepared for. She needs a parent and the only one who can fulfill that role is me, just not in the role I had originally envisioned.

I already found one survivor, so maybe there are others out there. I just hope they’re not all children; I don’t get enough sleep as it is.

Upon being discovered that Twilight Sparkle of Crystal Prep had been unwillingly harvesting magic from the Rainbooms at Canterlot High, the rest of her peers at Crystal Prep decided to seize the opportunity and make her unleash all of that gathered magic against their opponents.

However, magic is an untamable oddity, and when she released it all against the Canterlot High Wondercolts, Twilight became consumed by it and changed drastically.

In more ways than one...

Apple Bloom is sick and tired of having to do everything Applejack tells her just because she's the younger of the two. So when a certain embodiment of chaos offers to fulfill her desire to be the older sister, how could she say no? After all, she's always wanted to be older. This, however, wasn't exactly how she envisioned it.

Fluttershy returns from the Grand Galloping Gala with Discord at her side. Emotions peaked, she starts reflecting on the events, realizing that maybe she did things too. Was Discord really the only one who did something wrong?

They start to talk, and Discord eventually proceeds to ask an extraordinarily odd question that Fluttershy didn't expect to hear.
