Upon stumbling across this picture while delving into cute pony pics on Deviant-art I was struck with the need to write up this little bit of story. All of this is on the fly, off the top of my head and in the moment of inspiration, pulled a full on Rarity with this one if I do say so myself. Not my best work...but fluff for the sake of fluff left open ended as I may just make an entire story out of this if people enjoy it.
I had to come up with some characters for this and not much is really explained in the one chapter.

Obviously this is a Twidash story and they have kids.
Twilight is an Alicorn.
Rainbow is a Pegasus.
Violet Twinkle
True to her name her coat is Violet but her wings seem to sparkle in the moonlight. Not wanting to call her Violet Sparkle, Rainbow Dash decided on Twinkle. Violet takes after Twilight in smarts, but was born a pegasus, and like all pegasi she craves the day she finally takes flight. She is the middle child of three, but is normally the most levelheaded and responsible of the three.
Crimson Bolt
The youngest of the three Twidash kids. Crimson is hotheaded and loves nothing more than racing and causing a scene. One can only begin to imagine where he learned this kind of behavior. He lacks a filter and says whatever is on his mind, usually landing himself in hot water with one if not both of his parents...and several residents of Ponyville
Comet Tail
The firstborn of the three. Comet is the unicorn of the family and many ponies assume he is a genius due to him being the son of Twilight Sparkle. While far from being an idiot, Comet is quiet, almost never speaking except when with family. And even then he hardly speaks. He is easily distracted and has yet to tap into his magical abilities.
Doctors warned Twilight and Rainbow that a foal born of magic might leave side effects and in the first few years they worried that they had done something terribly wrong. They realized Comet was a perfectly normal Colt when a thunderstorm scared him into climbing into bed with them and asking if he could spend the night with them. It was the first time he had said more than two words and afterwards he became more outspoken around them. To this day however he remains a quiet colt.
After their panic attack with Comet, Twilight and Rainbow almost decided against a second foal, but with a newly refined spell and some bedroom magic...well you know the rest. Enjoy the story!
