McCree sounds off to me. Not as his usually cocky self. I guess you can say that its because he feels helpless, but I would imagine that he would still retain a bit of his cocky attitude.

...The "First Amendment" concerns the guaranteed right of citizens to free speech in respect to the government. That means the government can't step in and bully you into silence if you say something a politician doesn't like (although there are certain exceptions). It means you can make up and spread deliberate lies about government officials and agencies (such as this tripe) and they won't punish you for it.
Mind you, I'm not saying "the right to free speech" only applies to civilians in respect to the government—I'm saying the First Amendment only guarantees that the government won't silence a speaker except in specific cases where prohibition of free speech is deemed necessary. In strictly civilian to civilian interaction, your right to free speech cannot be guaranteed and the target of your message has no obligation to listen or even let you deliver your message to them—the target can ignore you completely (in online context, this means 'blocking' you), leave or force you to leave (if you are on their property), or even literally shut you up somehow (so long as it isn't anything illegal, like assault).
So unless you're talking about the government, then to the best of my knowledge the First Amendment is not being violated on the internet every day—and to say it was would require some pretty hefty evidence.
