Princess Celestia is a frequent visitor to the Astral Planes, the ancient world of spirits and immortal souls. She considers it a good way to unwind after a long and difficult day spent ruling her nation. On one such journey she finds herself sharing tea with a kindred spirit.

Humans. Over the last few years, they've been appearing in Equestria. Virtually all of them believe they're the first ones to make it there. And they try to move in, take over, and worse. Sometimes much worse. Even the peaceful ones can do damage by accident and there's no way to tell what could happen long-term. Equestria is for ponies and has to stay that way -- and so the Princesses have created the Canterlot Deportation Agency. The CDA exists to send humans back where they came from. Every time. As peacefully as possible, with a minimum of injuries -- unless things go wrong. And things do go wrong.

In a futuristic Equestria where cybernetic implants are as common as jewelry, Celestia sends her student Twilight Sparkle to locate her five missing research aides during an outbreak of strange pony behavior in Ponyville. As Twilight tracks down the missing aides, it soon becomes apparent that a larger threat is behind their vanishing, and it seems that Ponyville is just the beginning. Can she stop this ancient evil from plunging Equestria into chaos? A crossover with the Mega Man series.

When their escapades run them afoul of the royal fleet, Princess Celestia sends one of her old guards with them for a mission that, unbeknownst to them, may change the world forever. Some remnants may be better left in the past, and others are timeless gifts, waiting to be rediscovered... but one thing is for certain: the friendships that these ponies make will last forever. If fortune is on their side, it will be enough to save them.
