The colony of Myinnkyun had enough problems without Peridot vanishing — trade ships were disappearing, and the island's native minotaurs had launched an attack on the city walls.

But now there's talk that she was murdered, and the city is about to tear itself apart before its enemies have the chance.

One part Spoon River Anthology and one part Rashomon, this story invites you to piece together the story of Myinnkyun's last days — and Peridot's final night — from the dreams of its inhabitants. "Dreams cannot lie," the Nightmares say, but everybody has a different understanding of the truth ...

Now with an official epilogue, thanks to the contest!

Highly Recommended by Present Perfect! "Once again, horizon attempts something ambitious and in doing so effortlessly shows us how to write a story."

Rated ★★★★★ by Louder Yay! "If you're in the market for something truly original and are willing to work for your reward, drop everything and read this."

Praised by Cold in Gardez: "Dreams is the best story I've read in a long time. It deserved to win the last Writeoff, and if it had been a prose story instead of a poem, it probably would have ... but it wouldn't have been the work of art that it is."

Recommended by Titanium Dragon: "Really, you don’t need to be a connoisseur of poetry to appreciate this – the form of the poetry didn’t matter so much as the mystique it lent the piece."

Praised by Skywriter: "This story is destroying me right now. I mean, I'm just sitting here at my desk crying because of it. I don't know what else to do."

Rated Why Haven’t You Read These Yet? by PaulAsaran: "Poetry isn't my medium … [yet that] does nothing to dissuade my satisfaction with an ambitious concept and a fascinating delivery."

Reviewed by Chris: "The more you put into it, the more you're going to get out ... if you're looking for something opaque, surprising, and even poignant—and especially if you enjoy piecing together stories for yourself—consider this highly recommended."

Imagine an alternate universe, an Earth similar to ours, but with superheroes. Would those superheroes become bronies, just like us? How would they balance their duties as crime fighters with their status as pony lovers? Probably not this way, but for the sake of comedy, let's roll with the stupidity!

-------------------

An affectionate parody of both Kamen Rider and the Brony culture. This is probably the stupidest fanfic I've ever written, and I apologize for it. Also a warning: contains censored swearing.

I'm Spanish, so expect to find a lot of grammar mistakes. Feel free to correct me at anytime.

When the Tantabus, an entity born of sorrow, threatens to break free into the real world, only one hero is fit for the job of stopping it: Wizard.

Alternate ending to “Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?”
(This is what I call a “Henshin One-Shot”, a one-off battle between a Kamen Rider and an Equestrian villain with no real story surrounding it. Kamen Rider Wizard crossover)

On AJ's birthday, something unusual happens. A strange monster, some odd looking heroes, and some odd birthday gifts equals a very odd birthday. Plus a very special surprise for our Pony at the end. Happy Applejack Appreciation Day everyone.

Kurenai Wataru, a truth telling, shy 25 year-old man. He has lived on his own with his friend/self-proclaimed mother Shizuka in a very normal home. He's been through everything, from having a brother who's his enemy, his girlfriend dying from one of his enemies, the list goes on. A couple years after Nago and Megumi's wedding, Wataru was walking back to his home when he found a box that said on it, Give to a good home. Kivat understood what he was thinking and took the box home. When he opened up the box he found something he never thought he would see, a yellow pegasus with a pink mane and tail.

Kamen Rider Kiva sequel based on My Little Dashie and also a sequel to that as well.

This is a story set some 5 years after Season 3. It covers the relationships, triumphs, and tragedies of our beloved Mane 6. As the heros of Equestria, they'll always have enemies to battle. But sometimes the hardest battles are the ones that take place within.

Cover image from here: http://from-yesterday-xx.deviantart.com/art/Cider-Drunk-284296380 - Used with permission. (this was chosen when Arc 1 was all there was to the story. I may be looking for somebrony to design some better art eventually)

Much thanks to my proofreader, Present Perfect, whose characters will appear in this story from time to time, with permission.

The back of this slim volume reads as follows:

On winter's nights, when cold winds blow outside and ponies everywhere huddle around the fireplace, friends and family often pass the time by telling stories to one another. Many of these fanciful tales have been told and re-told for generations, and the most enduring ones have become immortalized in folklore as pony tales.
My brother and I have travelled the land, gathering many of these stories, and now present this collection for your entertainment. We hope you find them as interesting as we did.

~Scarlet Quill, of the Quill Siblings

Most of the pages are blank, but as you watch, neatly-penned words begin to fill the first few pages all on their own. Already, one story has completed itself. It appears to tell the tale of the First Changeling...

(Partially inspired by LadyMoondancer's Gobbling and Other Traditional Pursuits. More short stories may be added later as new chapters.)
