It's a normal day in Ponyville. Elusive, Rainbow Blitz, and Bubble Berry are all hanging out and having a good time until Blitz offends Elusive's honor as a stallion. Now the three have a bet, the objective: Get a date with one of their close friends, Applejack Twilight Sparkle, and Fluttershy.

When Fluttershy went to bed last night, the last thing she expected was to wake up and find that her faithful, if not obnoxious pet rabbit would be replaced by a grown stallion in a bunny suit that everyone else still saw as a rabbit. Now Angel, with his inelegant words of wisdom, brutal honesty, and confrontational nature, is free to speak his mind and help his master overcome her phobias and life's general hardships, all while trying to learn more about his own unusual nature. Inspired by the television series Wilfred.

For two years I've been hiding, for two years I've tried to just live my life. But it all came crashing down the day I chose to have lunch at a Diner. Now I'm forced to run again, forced to leave the life I tried to build. But what choice do I have, what choice does a mere clone have when she shouldn't exist?

Look at that castle... It's a nice castle, right? You'd like to live there wouldn't you? You innocent soul...

When a magic castle pops up in the middle of private property, it spells nothing but trouble. Ponies sue over damages to property values, the plumbing infrastructure is non-existent, and the insurance rate for a disaster magnet town like Ponyville is through the roof, without even considering it being made of crystals. It's a total nightmare and it all costs money.

Twilight found herself face-to-face with such a curse. While she has managed for such a long time, she has discovered her castle is infested with the worst possible thing of all. Friends. Gathering for a summit, Twilight is about to lay down the love and tolerance down on her friends. Shenanigans ensue.

Twilight Sparkle, pulling another late night, is finally confronted about by Spike and Starlight Glimmer. She reveals that she's been studying one of the realities she saw, specifically the one seemingly ruled by Flim and Flam. She just can't figure out how those two con artists could be as much of a threat as, say, Tirek or Nightmare Moon.

And then Discord shows up, telling her that she's looking at her information wrong. He volunteers to show Twilight, Spike, and Starlight what that reality is really like...
