In the decades since her ascension to princesshood, Twilight Sparkle has managed to overcome every challenge put before her, both external and internal, on the path to becoming the leader she was meant to be. For how far she may have come though, one part of her position has remained a mystery. Even as one of them, alicorns as a race are a complete unknown. Were they truly immortal? Where had they even come from? Why are there only two natural alicorns in Equestria today?

An innocent Hearth's Warming gift may hide a way to find the answers. As Twilight and Spike follow the trail into ancient Equestrian history, they may find the lasting legacy of the alicorn race, truths hidden by those closest to them for millienia and a world in danger of having its future erased by its past.

Hey everyone! Welcome to what I'm considering the last regular piece before I start working on the finale of this complicated web of stories I've weaved. New chapters will go up every two days and I'm glad to say I feel back on form. Whether you're checking my stuff out for the first time or have kept an eye on me for the past two years, I hope you enjoy!

Spike had always caught my eye, but I wasn't expectin' for him to steal my heart. After his fight with Twilight, I thought bringin' him on the farm would help him, not harm us both with a good time. Though I wonder... can I get him to like me back?

A new pony has arrived in Ponyville on the day of Summer Sun Celebration. Who is he? He's nice but when the residents of the town learn more about him, even more unanswered questions seem to pop up.
Can anypony figure out this mystery?

This is just an idea I had and wrote by hand (later edited onto a computer) in a matter of a few hours. I have no delusions that this is a perfect story. Just some fun I had when writing out ideas. For the most part it will focus on different ponies crossing paths with him as the series goes on and not directly follow him. This IS technically a Human in Equestria story but by no means is he ordinary, both in body and mind as you will notice in the first chapter. He WILL be unrealistic, so please no comments about him not reacting to the situation like a normal person.
As for the back story of the character, I had originally included it but at second glance, I felt it would be better for both people inside and outside of the story to figure it out.

After returning to the side of good and banishing a threat to Equestria, Sombra is dealing with new changes, both physically and emotionally. He is now dating Twilight Sparkle and has moved to Ponyville with hopes of a fresh start. What kind of wacky adventures can the former Shadow King get into?

Where did Spikes egg come from? Why did Celestia have his egg in the first place? Why was she using it in a test to find a pony she would eventually groom into a Princess?

I don't love Spike! He's weak, small, sensitive and unlike any dragon I've met! I like him as a friend, of course—he lets me... feel things and express things and a whole lot of other things. Just... can he win this fight to become my fake partner?
