When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. Yet she remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?

Because sometimes, just because you're immortal doesn't make you invulnerable. Sometimes, the one you're more proud of than anything else is the one that respects you the most, and sometimes respect goes deeper than either of you had ever realised.

Additionally, because sometimes an author wants to try and write something that doesn't end in horse sex, but instead adorable hugging and stuff. If this doesn't work out I'll probably go on and add some horse sex later, because people always like to see that, but I hope people enjoy it. After having a conversation with Princess Celestia, Twilight finds out the Princess has never had a special somepony. When the news reaches Rarity's ears, she decides to help by brewing a Love Potion.

Unfortunately, for Rarity, Celestia drank the potion with her sister, Luna.

Lyra Heartstring must look elsewhere after failing her auditions for the Canterlot Royal Symphony. Her plans continue to fall through as she tries to piece together a plan for her future. When all seems lost, she finds guidance towards a new life in a young cream colored mare.

It seemed so simple. An afternoon out with friends and the ones you love, but life is rarely predictable. It only takes a moment to throw someone's life upside down.

Taking place a few years before Twilight Sparkle arrives in Ponyville, this story is told from the perspective of Bon Bon, a cynical but flirtatious and clever mare, who instantly falls under Lyra Heartstrings' spell. They encounter many hurdles in their ever-growing relationship. Will the duo be able to overcome a society that mistreats their special bond? With enough love and gratuitous fluff, anything is possible!
