After the Storm King's army was disbanded Tempest decides to stay in Ponyville for a few weeks to prove she can be a valued citizen of Equestria.

She expects to be bored. She expects civilian life to be hard to adjust to.

She doesn't expect Rainbow Dash to approach her, asking for combat training. And she certainly doesn't expect to start to like the cocky Pegasus.

But opening your heart to friendship means opening it to some other things as well.

Months before the Elements of Harmony realized their destinies, the Canterlot Special Sciences division found an unidentified creature near the Everfree. Unfortunately nopony seems to be able to understand a thing it says when it tries to communicate- except one pony.

For four pony visitors to Earth, practically everything is new and overwhelming, including food: not only in the wide variety of foods available for delivery, but how do you eat them with hooves?

Things in bowls are easy to figure out, but how should a pizza be approached? Is it, in fact, a flat breadbowl, a combination of soup and fondue held in by the crust?

Berry Snowdrift lives in a small cottage on the outskirts of a wintery forest. Living away from the village has its ups and downs but when Berry goes into the forest one day to gather firewood, she comes across a very strange and mystical glade. On my way back from Zecora's hut, I found him, hurt, alone, and scared. I didn’t know how a pegasus colt had gotten lost out here in the depths of the Everfree Forest, but he needed help. So I showed him the same kindness I’d give to any other sick or injured critter. It had an unusual impact on him, and I have no idea what the lasting effects will be.
