You wanted to live your life simply, make the best for yourself, and maybe make a few friends along the way. But with one backstab too many, you find that last point to be impossible. You make it a point to never put too much faith in your so-called "friends," and you wonder if you'll ever be able to trust again.

Will the kindness of a simple mare be able to turn you around?

Author's Note: I've read a few 2nd-Person fics around, both on here and elsewhere, so I thought "Why not give it a shot?" My first fanfiction, not only about ponies, but about ANY sort of material, so criticism is welcome. If you spot grammar issues or whatever, I'll try and get them all sorted out as well.

Why Fluttershy? Well, she's my favorite, of course. That, and I've yet to develop a story for any other character thus far.

As for content? It won't be incredibly saucy, and some foul language is about the worst I'll throw into this, so don't worry too much about that.

After the invention of radio, DJ-P0n3 (aka Vinyl Scratch) holds the first Equestrian talk show with her co-host Octavia. This is the story of a young pegasus stallion, or you specifically. After the passing of your mother, and your ever increasing distant father, your brother has never felt safe in the cloud home. Afraid of heights and normal life in Cloudsdale, you decide to abandon your former life to start a new one on the ground, in a town called Ponyville. While there you find a cute mare that runs the local post office who goes by the name of Ditzy Doo.

When Ditzy Doo loses her job at Cloudsdale Mail and Freight, she gets a job at another shipping company... only to find out their definition of shipping has nothing to do with delivering packages! Desperate for income to support herself and Dinky, will Ditzy be able to make it as a pony matchmaker?

Luna finds out about Pip's life, and decides to adopt him. This leads to her going to Ponyville much more often, and seeing more familiar faces. Feelings that she can't explain begins to develop in her.

You wake up in a hotel after a night you barely remember. Your life is about to turn upside down, the cartel is after you and your new rainbow-maned friend for something.

Let's just say your luck with the mares isn't all that great, two months in Ponyville and you've had your heart stomped on more times than you can count. That coupled with the fact you've lost your job, your house, and have barely enough bits to feed yourself means your life isn't exactly going so great. And after another botched attempt at a relationship you're ready to swear off of the whole dating game for good.
But after a night of drunken debauchery you awaken to find yourself in the service of Ponyville's premiere fashionista, you're willing to forget your previous pledge to the single life after she proves herself to be the kindest and most generous pony you've ever met, but only time will tell if she'll be your future lover or the next in line of a long list of mare's who you'd rather forget.

Indigo Flight is a young, disenchanted, cocky and aggressive pegasus who hates his job, life, and himself.

Told from the POV of Indigo himself, he puts you in his shoes for a while, and tells the tale of how one pegasus scoops him up from rock-bottom, and turns his life around in to a loop-de-loop of friendship and love.
