After being rejected by Rarity, Spike falls into a state of depression. There he becomes friends with an unlikely pony, Diamond Tiara. As they become better friends, Spike finds himself drawn to Diamond Tiara in more sinister ways.

Trixie Lulamoon is causing trouble in Ponyville once again, in more ways than one. As somepony who would like to be Trixie's friend, and who doesn't want to push the problem onto somepony else, Twilight Sparkle agrees to help.

Sweetie Belle is a normal filly, at least she thinks so. But even among her fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders, she had always been different. Maybe it was some slight bouts of immature behavior or taking after her older sister. But lately she has felt some strong feelings looming over her, she knows why but won't tell a soul. She won't even be honest with her self. So what does she do? The choice is obvious: She hides. She hides from friends, she hides from families and teachers. She hides her feelings where they can never pop out and ruin what life she has. But is hiding enough?

She wants the respect of her brother and sister, so she decides to take a drink of something definitely not meant for fillies. What happens afterward will convince her to never touch her brother's apple whisky ever again.

The following piece was written before season 3 and I'm not going back to change it, because this story flies in the face of canon anyway. It seems a new competition has begun on who can win the purple unicorn's heart. Meanwhile Twilight struggles to understand why everypony seems to be falling head over hooves for her. Well not literally everypony, but you know what I mean.

WARNING: This pretty much ignores Season 3 entirely. Well Trixie's part anyways.
