Over a thousand years ago, two royal siblings fought for the sky and were exiled, one by her sister's hoof, and one in penance for what she had done.

In the present Republic of Equestria, no one remembers them as anything more than legends and old pony tales. Save for one shy filly who fell from the sky one fine summer's day.

An Alternate Universe "What If" tale, reconstructing the beginning from a different angle.

Starlight Glimmer has worked hard to bring about her vision of perfection. Molding ponies to fit where they were supposed to and making them happier for it. Pity no one told her that when they made the Great and Powerful Trixie, they broke the mold.

Twilight Sparkle and her friends were not the first ponies to stumble upon Starlight Glimmer's utopia. They weren't the first ponies to rock the foundations of her perfect society, when they rejected Starlight's vision. Yes, they might have been the ones to shatter her vision, but the cracks were formed well before then...

When the Great and Powerful Trixie rolls into town she's gonna put on an unforgettable show. Whether you like it or not.

Hope is the faith of the young. Losing everything she holds dear, Puppysmiles embarks on the adventure of her life to find her mother, her hopes of meeting her again driving her through the horrors of a world not of her making. Too bad the Wastelands doesn't care about hope.

Sunset was very hurt and betrayed by her so-called friends after they callously dumped her during the Anon-A-Miss incident. However, she can't bring herself to leave; she can't go back to being the person she was - aloof, cold, and alone.

And so she buries it. Tries to forget it. Easier said than done.

Her car's a mess, and so is her life. What better way to start making sense of the cruel world than to take the city bus? Octavia is in for a bumpy ride as she journals her observations and feelings about using the Equestrian Transit System. What will she discover? Only one way to find out!

While on her way home from a day with her friends, Apple Bloom runs into Twilight on a trip to Zecora's hut. After insisting to join her, little Apple Bloom gets lost in the woods after chasing a mysterious mare hiding amongst the poison joak. She stumbles upon a town completely isolated within the Ever Free Forest, but something about this town just doesn't feel right...

"Fluttershy gets bitten by a werewolf from the Everfree Forest, but when a side effect of the changes limits her inhibitions, she starts to wonder if the cure is such a good idea. Even if she does start to behave a little 'differently' otherwise..."

Sunset Shimmer was too late. Before she could convince Wallflower Blush to release her friend's memories, they were lost forever. As she confronts Wallflower, and takes the Memory Stone for herself, she contemplates what she must do... and realizes, maybe she's not worth being remembered.

And now it's time for Wallflower to stop her from making a horrible mistake.

A new school, a new chance. Trixie's going to be popular this time. And what better way than to be Princess of the Spring Fling? But, Trixie isn't the only new girl. Care to know what happened to the girl who first challenged Sunset's rule?
