Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo stepped out of Big Mac's truck and walked towards the entrance of the hospital, all wearing expressions of unease. They had been walking home from school when Big Mac had pulled up and told them to get in, saying Applejack wanted all of them to meet her there.
"You don't think she's hurt, do you?" Sweetie asked.
"Maybe she wants you to get checked out, Bloom." Scootaloo suggested, gesturing to Apple Bloom's black eye.
"If she did, she woulda brought me here weeks ago." Apple Bloom said grimly. Applejack obviously believed, like everyone else, that she deserved the treatment she was getting at school; she acted liked she cared when she was bullied in front of her, but paid almost no attention the rest of the time. Surely she had to have noticed all the bruises and injuries Apple Bloom had gotten the past few weeks; she had to be ignoring her. Right?
And who can blame her? I'm the worst sister ever.
"Yo." They turned to see Flash Sentry, a boy in their sisters' grade. "You looking for you're sisters?"
They nodded. He jerked his thumb behind him. "They're in the room down the hall. Second to the right."
As they left, Big Mac went to sit down in the waiting area. Flash joined him.
Awkward silence.
"Soooooo......any idea why you brought them here?"
"Eenope. You?"
"Nope."
More awkward silence....
The tension could have been cut with a knife. No one in the room dared to breathe, let alone speak.
Suddenly, the door creaked and in walked three young girls, all looking like they've had a very bad day.
Applejack and Rarity were by their sisters' sides in heartbeat.
"Apple Bloom! What in tarnation happened to yer eye?" Applejack started. Apple Bloom avoided her gaze.
"Sweetie Belle! Your outfit! Merciful heavens, that's one of your best shirts! I should know; I made it! " Rarity cried dramatically, trying her best to clean the ugly purple stain as best she could. Sweetie Belle just stood there, embarassed.
Rainbow Dash stayed in her seat, arms crossed, refusing to look at Scootaloo. Scootaloo stared at the ground.
".....What happened to your knee?" Rainbow asked awkwardly.
"....I fell." Scootaloo said, just as awkwardly.
"....That sucks."
"....Yeah."
"It was those bullies again, whatnit? Tell me who did it!" Applejack demanded, trying to get Apple Bloom to look her in the face so she could examine her eye.
Apple Bloom stepped back and avoided her gaze. "Ah fell."
"Now that is a darn right lie an' you know it! Tell me what happened, and Ah want the truth, gotdangit!!"
"Whatsit to ya?" Apple Bloom grumbled. "Ya wouldn't believe me if Ah said it was rainin' and it really was."
Applejack glared at her sister, placing her hands on her hips. "Well ya cain't exactly blame me fer takin' yer words with a grain a' salt, now can ya?"
"Ahem."
Applejack, Rarity, and the three girls turned to the source of the voice. There sat Twilight Sparkle, her legs and arms crossed, a blank expression on her face. Near her legs was a small purple and green dog, wearing a rather reproachful look on his face.
"If you don't mind, Applejack. Rarity." Twilight said, cocking an eyebrow. "I'd like to speak with your sisters."
Applejack and Rarity exchanged a nervous glance, then returned to their seats.
Twilight took a deep breath, and then smiled. "I don't believe we've been formally introduced, Apple Bloom. Sweetie Belle. Scootaloo."
Twilight stood up and gave a small curtsy. "Twilight Sparkle. Princess of Friendship. At your service." She gestured to the dog. "And this is my companion, Spike."
The girls gave awkward "hi"s and "pleased to meet you"s as Twilight sat back down. The princess was smiling at them, but...there was something.... off about it. Almost...angry.
Sweetie Belle, not questioning why there was an animal in the hospital in the first place, reached out to pet Spike, but he backed away and gave a small growl. While the growl wasn't menacing, its message was clear, and Sweetie withdrew her hand.
"Please sit down, girls." Twilight gestured to three empty seats on the opposite wall. They did.
"As you can imagine, being a princess is no easy task. Loads of responsibilities and all that. Still it does have its perks. Being able to teach others the magic of friendship is certainly one. However, there are those more.....headache inducing moments.
"For example, about two months ago, I received a message from Sunset Shimmer, a very dear friend of mine, that someone calling themselves Anon-A-Miss was spreading the personal secrets of my other friends, and that these friends suspected Sunset of being Anon-A-Miss."
All three girls paled, but said nothing.
"Naturally I was disappointed," Twilight's gaze flickered towards the older girls momentarily. "And sympathetic. But ultimately, I had faith that they would be able to get past this little hurdle and everything would work out. Two days later, Sunset sent me another message saying that the real culprits had been found and that her name had been cleared. And nothing else. No details whatsoever. Of course I was suspicious but, again, I didn't really worry too much about it.
"But then things got...strange, to say the least. Sunset stopped writing to me, and when I tried to write to her she wouldn't respond. Naturally, I was concerned, but I really couldn't do anything about it. Princesses duties and what have you.
"But then, about two hours ago, I retrieved a very....interesting message." As Twilight spoke, her smile began to look more and more like a grimace, and her cheerful voice became more filled with contempt. "Flash Sentry, the blue-haired boy outside, wrote me that Sunset had apparently had an emotional breakdown and he was very concerned she might do something drastic. I came over immediately, and do you know what I found?" The girls, now very pale and frightened, shook their heads. "Sunset. Bleeding. From her hands and forehead. After apparently trying to smash Fluttershy's bathroom mirror."
"Wait....Sunset's here? In the hospital?" Scootaloo asked, her eyes widening.
"Is...is she okay?" Sweetie asked nervously.
"Physically? She's in the ER right now. Probably going to have to have stitches. She'll live, if that's what you're asking. But I wouldn't say she's 'okay.'" Twilight said bitterly, her smile completely falling off. "I asked your sisters a little while ago what the heck was going on. And do you know what they said?" The girls didn't respond. They knew what was coming. "Apparently, these five girls, the girls I specifically asked and trusted to guide Sunset and teach her about friendship, not only did they suspect her of being Anon-A-Miss, they flat out rejected her and cut her from their group on the flimsiest of evidence. And you know what else they said? Go on, guess! You'll never be able to figure it out!"
Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo slid down further in their seats, bracing for impact.
"They said that you three....were Anon-A-Miss. You. Their little sisters."
Twilight leaned forward, her gaze colder than the chilly weather outside. The girls struggled not to look away. "I want to know what. Exactly. Was going through your minds when you decided to publicly humiliate your sisters and make Sunset a scapegoat."
"In all fairness, I don't think they intended-"
"I want. To hear it. From them!" Twilight snarled, never breaking eye contact. Fluttershy whimpered, but ultimately went silent.
And so, the girls told her. They left nothing out.
"Jealousy. That was it." Twilight smirked, then let out a very bitter laugh. "You want to know what the worst thing about this is for me? I'm not even that surprised it was you!"
"What do you mea- oh." Spike looked down, looking as though he just ate something awful. "The Gabby Gums incident."
If Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo were shocked by the dog's ability to speak, they didn't show it.
"Exactly." Twilight turned to her friends as she explained. "There is a version of these three back in my world. They did something similar to what these three did - they ran a newspaper column that printed embarrassing stories and even outright lies about everyone in town. Naturally everyone wasn't too happy with them."
Twilight smiled sadly, "Maybe if I had figured it out sooner, then.."
"Twilight," Spike said firmly. "This isn't your fault."
Twilight paused, and then nodded. "You're right Spike. It isn't. Not completely."
"Of course, when they did it," Twilight turned back to the three girls with a scowl. "It was because they wanted to pursue a career in journalism, and because they were being blackmailed when they tried to quit. Not over some petty slight."
"We didn't mean for-"
"Don't. Don't even give me that." Twilight said condescendingly. "You posted information that you knew everyone would laugh and scoff at. Things you knew would hurt your sisters deeply. What exactly did you think was going to happen?!"
Sweetie Belle fell silent, biting her lip.
"What I don't understand, is why you continued? You had gotten what you wanted; these five weren't hanging out with Sunset anymore. So why keep doing it?"
"People were sending us requests." Scootaloo said, confused. Didn't they just go over this? "We didn't know what else to do."
"Oh yes, because obviously you didn't have any other options. It's not like you could have, oh I don't know, ignored them!" Twilight shouted. "Here's a little life lesson, girls; at the end of the day, most sane po-people, don't like being made fun of. It doesn't matter that you were sent requests (though make no mistake, I'm very upset about that.), because in the end, you still chose to post them. Actions, no matter how little or insignificant they may seem, always have consequences."
"Don't Ah know it." Apple Bloom muttered, absentmindedly touching her black eye.
Twilight fought down any sympathy she felt. This was a lesson that needed to be harsh. Letting out a deep sigh, she asked, "Just one more thing....why didn't you just talk to your sisters? Tell them how you were feeling? Why did you have to resort to this?"
All three girls looked like they had been slapped.
"Ah...Ah don't know..." Apple Bloom whimpered, her eyes filling with tears.
"...I didn't think she'd care..." Sweetie Belle whispered.
Suddenly the room was filled with loud hysterical laughter. Everyone turned to see Rarity doubled over in her seat.
"You...silly...ignorant...stupid child!" Rarity choked out. Rarity looked up, revealing her mascara running down her face in two ugly black lines. "Of course we care!"
Tears ran down Sweetie's face. "....I..."
"Girls, we're not mind-readers." Applejack said exasperated. "We cain't know anything's wrong unless you tell us!"
Applejack knelt down in front of Apple Bloom and held her face so she'd have to look at her. "Ah won't lie. You girls hurt us. You especially, Apple Bloom. An' it'll take a while before that hurt goes away. But Ah will never stop bein' yer big sis! Ah don't like seein' you hurt. Okay?! Have Ah made mahself clear enough fer you?!"
Apple Bloom ran into her sister's arms, sobbing freely. Applejack wrapped her arms tightly around her, tears falling from her closed eyes.
Sweetie Belle walked timidly up to Rarity and offered her a handkerchief. Rarity took it and wiped the mascara away, then took Sweetie Belle's hand in hers, smiling sadly.
Scootaloo went up to Rainbow Dash, who stilled refused to look at her. "Dash...I'm so sorry. For everything. Can you ever forgive me?"
Rainbow Dash tightened her crossed arms. "Scoots...I can't."
Scootaloo blinked back tears, her heart beginning to break. "But..."
"I want to. Believe me, I really want to." Rainbow Dash turned to look at her, her face full of sorrow. "But I can't. If I do, it'll make me a filthy hypocrite. How can I justify forgiving you when I wouldn't even give Sunset a chance? How can I do it without being an even worst friend than I already am? Huh? Tell me!"
Scootaloo hung her head, her tears falling to the floor. "I'm sorry..."
Rainbow turned away, curling herself against the wall. "...Me, too."
Twilight took all of this in, and then covered her face with her hand. She felt she had bitten off more than she could chew on this one.
The door creaked opened and Flash stuck his head through the crack. "Sunset's awake."
Twilight stood up, and opened the door fully. "I'm going in first."
Pinkie tried to protest. "But-"
Twilight turned, her face full of sympathy, "You guys have a lot to discuss."
And with that, she walked out, Spike close behind, and gently closed the door behind her.
Mmmmmm! this "you fucked up big time." devil cake was a great dessert right after the tasty meal from last chapter and may i say, i thought the "shut the fuck up fluttershy!" was a great choice for an icing flavor.
This chapter made me happy, the CMC had it coming, and I think that Twilight set things straight.
Everything that Twilight said?, I would say, it was deserved to be said.
I can't wait for the next chapter, though, I feel that something in the next chapter will make me feel even badder for Sunset...
The CMC not knowing that Spike can talk seems weird.
I wonder if Sunset will go back to her home world...While I would voted for that, there oen thing that keeps me from wishing that.
Sci Twi the human Twllight she all alone, Crystal Prep the school is at treats ehr horrible, the Shadow Bolts whiel not as bad as some of the students are stillb linded by the image of being Crystal Preps students cold harsh and being on top.
if those two met, i think they latch on to each other, both are alone or feel so alone, both are super smart, and both are in pain while Susnet's worst I think being friends with the Dorky girl woudl do them both a world of good.
7477535 How many times in both movies have you actually seen Spike and the CMC interact?
7477546 Never actually but they were there when he talking in front of the school in EqG1
Finally, an acknowledgement that Rainbow Dash can't forgive Scootaloo because of how she treated Sunset for the same thing. Applejack and Rarity it's understandable that eventually they would forgive them, they are sisters after all. But RD and Scootaloo are only friends with a sister like relationship.
Rainbow's argument about why she can't forgive Scootaloo makes no sense.
"I didn't give Sunset a chance, and I know that was wrong, and that means I can't give you a chance either!"
...No, dipshit. It means you don't make the same mistake twice.
7477861 What can I say? RD's pigheaded.
First off, let me say that I am really enjoying this story, and keep up the good work!
But secondly, I really want to comment on an interesting feature of almost all of these anon-a-miss stories. I find it fascinating how everyone wants/loves to lay the smack down on the CMC in these stories. And by everyone I mean not just the author, but most of the commenters.
Now I'm not saying that the CMC don't have some serious grief coming their way after what they did... But it seems a little disproportionate compared to what Sunset did.
Sunset broke up the Main 5. Bullied and tormented the other students. Engaged in blackmail and other unpleasantness. And by all appearances she did this for years. And she was either skilled enough to never get caught, or her misbehavior was ignored by the faculty. In the end she brainwashed the students and tried to use them to invade another dimension! Causing significant property damage in the process!
And do we see her receive any justice or retribution for her acts? Do we see her being physically abused? Was she even given detention for her actions? Or did her Heel Face Turn just wipe that all away?
Now onto the CMC... In a fit of jealousy and pique they posted some unpleasant facts, rumors, and secrets about their sisters and framed Sunset for it. Pretty nasty, but that would have been the end of it if the rest of the school hadn't begun sending them things to post. They caused as much or more havoc than Sunset ever did, not out of malice, but because they lacked Sunset's skills at manipulation and subtlety. Their crime wasn't digging up secrets or bullying other students. It was in allowing themselves to be the mouthpiece for other students to spill secrets and bully each other.
So let's see... they're younger and less mature than Sunset was, less intentionally malicious and power hungry than sunset was, were active for less time than sunset was, and in the end admitted to their own wrongdoing without a magical rainbow to the face. They even had a semi valid reason, if you look at it from the right angle... It's a little strange for their sisters to suddenly be best friends with their former tormentor... An individual who has already demonstrated mind control abilities of a sort. Trying to separate Sunset from the HuMane 5 doesn't seem so unreasonable in that context.
So... the villainess who has a change of heart get's off lightly, but the foolish children who were never really that evil deserve to get pounded on? Is there some threshold you have to cross before you're 'evil' enough for redemption to wipe the slate clean?
Of course, in-universe there's a logical explanation for that... Sunset may have turned over a new leaf, but she's still both attractive and dangerous. When the lion lies down with the lamb, the lamb is wise not to start poking the lion with a sharp stick. The CMC lack both of those attributes, which makes them fair game for some more aggressive retribution than Sunset experienced. And, if that's the case, it just lowers my opinion of the students of Canterlot High even more.
Of course, that doesn't explain why the fandom is so cheerful and eager to pile on the CMC...
7477938 Thanks for liking my fanfic!
And I have to admit, you do bring up some interesting points. Sunset has certainly done far worse than CMC ever did. In fact, this is the first majorly bad thing they've done.
I think most in the MLP community dislike the CMC for what they did is because of their character portrayal and the reason they did it. When Sunset did what she did in the 1st movie, it made sense; she's the villain, and it's been established that she will do anything it takes to get what she wants, even if means hurting others. The CMC, however, are the 'good' guys, and therefore should know better.
Personally, I think it's entirely in their characters to do something like this. In "For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils", Sweetie Belle was willing to sabotage her sister's work and possibly ruin her career out of sheer jealously. It was only after Luna intervened - and showed her a rather disturbing vision of the future - that she saw the error of her ways and tried to fix it.
Another thing I'd like to point out is that the human CMC grew up with technology and the Internet. The Internet is a vast and often necessary tool for humanity, but it is often far to tempting to not abuse it. And as you pointed out, the CMC are children, and children often don't fully comprehend the consequences of their actions.
However, I think you'll find that a lot of people are more angry at the Humane Five than the CMC, myself included. What the CMC did was wrong, obviously, and there should be consequences for what they did. But the actions of the Humane Five come across as intentionally forgetting the lesson they learned in the first Equestria girls movie, if not outright hypocrisy.
If this comic took place after the 1st Equestria girls movie, it would probably make more since. But this takes place after Rainbow Rocks, where Sunset saved the entire school from being enslaved by the sirens and proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she had truly changed. She even ponied up with everyone else. Not turned into a demon. PONIED. UP. If that wasn't a sign that Sunset had truly learned the magic of friendship, I don't know what is.
Also...your comment on Sunset not getting punished....um, I kinda have to disagree with that. While it's true that we didn't see her receive a detention or the like, it's pretty clear that no one at school has forgotten or forgiven her for her actions. In fact, I think it's implied that she was shunned or even outright bullied by the students. And while the Humane Five do act nice towards her and include her, it's pretty clear that they don't fully trust her, as evident during the semi -finals of the Battle of the Bands. It was only after saving everyone that they were willing to give her a chance.
7477938
I guess when it comes to Sunset and why everyone is drawn to her throughout these Anon-A-Miss stories and more forgiving of her badgirl days is dissociation. You're right that Sunny did a lot of things horrible at CHS, but the sad thing is that it was only mentioned, never shown. The stuff that we have seen in movie is just piss-poor performance and failed planning that no one (fandom wise) sees her as a legitimate threat to say Nightmare Moon, Discord, the Sirens, Changelings, or Tirek.
I'll admit, I didn't buy into Sunset's "I'm sorry" BS and expected the worst from her in Rainbow Rocks. I still think she's a pathetic villain, but she grew on me after the events of Rainbow Rocks after she's shown to want to change. Not to mention throughout the Holiday comic, Sunset has been shown repeatedly brought down to tears by everyone in school.
You're right that the CMC are kids and don't know any better and kids makes mistakes that sometimes they don't know what they're doing, but like Twilight said they should've just ignored it and leave it be. Instead they chose to keep going with the requests they've been getting. They may have accidentally started a fire, but they dowse the flames in gasoline and let it become a forest fire.
I guess there's also how these two operate. Sunset did all this to subjugate and instill fear, but it maintained order. The CMC did it to humiliate one person and it brought chaos that if it continued unchecked it would've ended with Sunset being assaulted or murdered, or she would commit suicide or return back to Equtestria to start over.
All that and also the comic was total BS on the piss-poor story, lack of logic between characters, rushed resolution, and the fact that despite being titled as a Holiday Special, there's nothing really festive about it.
At least that's my thoughts on the matter.
7478033
That is true! Besdies Susnet spent years breaking up the school, the CMC did in weeks, Sunset did alot to hurt others, the CMC drove everyone into to nearly tearing each other apart.
Weeks instead of years like Sunset once.
Also Sunset truly regreted her choices, she spent years alone think she didn't need friends companions, or bonds.
At the end she was so alone and getting a second chance she latched on to it like a life line.
Heck she loved them so much, they were her life line.
At the end of the second movie in the credits the CMC were hanging out with Sunset helping her a little, they must fo being willing to give her a chance.
But when they threw it away because of jealousy and resentment
The CMc had thier family and sisters, who did Susnet have no one, The CMC had homes and warm beds and good food.
What did Sunset have..nothing, Sunset also know the reason she had nothing was because fo her own decisions, she made a bad choice and paid the price for it.
When she had five friends or sisters she was greatful, and that helped her as she was shunned and dispised for what she had done by the school.
Everytime she remebered what she did she groan or bury her face in her arms, hating herself, and let now forget how they kept bring up what she did or made comparsions of events or reminders of her turning to a she demon.
Every stinking time!
But she say No offense and just smile saddly.
Also speaking of How Sunset was never seemly punished that much in the movie, in the comic the CMC jsut got a few months detention and their cell phones taken away.
What they did could gotten them suspended or expeled at the least but they just got detention, and were still allowed to hang out together.
While during the entire mess. Sunset was left in the half way crying her eyes out begging for her friends to come back, as well as being sorrunded by the entire school later on and being screamed, threaten, spat on and looked on the verge fo being attacked by a angry mob.
Gives to thoughts dispite saving everyone from the sirens they hadn't forgiven her fully and jumped no...CHARGED AND DIVED into blaming Sunset and hating her.
She was curled up crying her eyes out terrfied and alone.
That was in the comic, not a fan fic but the comic itself.
also one mroe thing. Even when Sunset broke up the main five, they had other people to go to to seek some form of comfort, Sunset had nobody at the time of the event of the Miss Anon, I'm sure the Teachers weren't a choice as well.
all she had was the book and Twilight who was in another world too busy to come and see her, all she coud do was write. Don't give up, have hope.
That all, by the time she was able to come it already too late.
7477914 Apparently, yes, and not especially intelligent. What the CMC did was bad, but not horrible, and in the end if Rainbow Dash isn't careful their separation could be permanent.
7478397
Rainbow's just really upset and hurt right now. Im sure she'll come around eventually (hopefully).
7478526 We can hope, though she's proud and stone-headed at times.
I would also sat Apple Bloom is justified somewhat doubting Applejack's claims that she cares. I don't care what he's done, if my brother were bullied in front of me? I'd do something, not just act concerned about it. Somebody would be bleeding.
7477861
One of the first steps on the road to forgiveness is to forgive yourself.
7482591 Indeed.
7482711 not really, it tried to but failed.
7484677 About the only improvement is that they at least tried to talk to Rainbow Dash this time.
This plot fails the same way Mare-Do-Well failed - it didn't work.
All Mare-Do-Well's actions succeeded in doing was making her jealous and act like an even bigger jackass than she already was. It was only after they revealed themselves and actually told RD how they were feeling that she finally got the message.
......Then again, they tried to talk to RD about her excessive pranking....and she still continued.
Ummm......kinda sendin' mixed messages, guys.
Also, where the hell was Starlight in all this? Not that I really care, but isn't she supposed to be a major character now?
7484703 I point to Griffon the brush off. the pranks are mainly the same level as used there and they were okay with that. 28 Pranks Later is a failed episode over all with only some the pranks were funny. But bad writing all around.

7479351 Amen to that man.
Awww, don't'cha worry Apple Bloom. Your big sis doesn't hate you. She really is that oblivious. Your pony counterpart has had it way worse than that.
This was harsh, but needed to be learned. Seeing them getting physically assaulted, while I don't approve... well... what can ya do?
They brought this on themselves.
Nice job

7923248 Sometimes it doesn't occur to us are harsh the consequences are going to get until we actually do something that warrants them.
Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Yelling at People!
At least "Talk with the people who care about you" is a good lesson. :/
At least they don't need to think about it. #ShadesOfCelestiaAtWeddingRehearsal
9716924
Exactly; Celestia should've known to trust Twilight, her own "Most Faithful Student" who would never want to disappoint her in any way. Celestia should've known to trust Twilight, who would've known the difference between a headache-relieving spell and a brainwashing spell. Celestia should've known to trust Twilight, when she became extremely suspicious of her old foalsitter and how out-of-character she was behaving and tried to bring that to her attention.
But no - buck all that nonsense; just completely dismiss the mare like everypony else (including her so-called 'friends') just to get the wedding going. It's not like this complete and utter dismissal caused another pony Celestia cares about to become evil, after all; it's not like this could cause Twilight to snap and become her worst enemy, possessing bucketloads of magical potential and knowledge of how to absolutely ruin those who wronged her, along with how to neutralise the Elements of Harmony.
...I wonder if there's a fanfic like this floating about somewhere...
9740451
It's not even that they didn't believe Twilight. It's that they just assumed that Twilight was acting out of jealousy and dismissed her concerns offhand.
Let's pretend that Twilight was wrong. That Cadance was just being a Bridezilla. Keep in mind that Twilight was informed about the wedding at the last possible minute. Meaning that she and her friends only have a day or two to prepare. Cadance, whom Twilight has known since foalhood, is being dismissive and cold to her and treating her friends like shit. And when she tries to vent to her friends, they blow her off.
So, to recap. Twilight is in a situation where she has to meet a deadline. Things don't go her way. She tries to tell her friends, and they don't listen. Twilight starts acting paranoid and she make irrational decisions as a result of her stress. Where have we seen this before?!
Now granted, Twilight didn't exactly help her case by barging in and making a scene with no proof, and she could have expressed her concerns better, but still. Her friends have seen this scenario play out before. They know that Twilight doesn't work well under pressure. The more stressed out she is, the less rational she becomes, and the more likely she is to make decisions that ultimately backfire and make the situation worse. They should have tried to dissuade her fears, to let her vent and try to come up with a solution that would benefit everyone. And instead, they blew her off. Again.
Envy can be a real nasty thing you know and at times I can literally drive you insane
I'll admit, I've even done some bucked up things out of envy, jealousy, or someone's small slight against me.....but even I, bastard that I can be, have never taken anything this far.
9740451
I there is one but it not finished. It starts the same but after the day is saved well they want act like nothing happened and that where all goes wrong. Discord apparently took advantage of the craziness to escape and he influenced twilight to the dark side too well. Instead getting a partner in crime he gets betrayed.

7478397
Not horrible?
This action can lead to SUICIDE!!!
Twilight didn't mimic words when confronting the CMC over their role in the Anon-a-Miss quagmire. It was smart of Twilight to realize the similarity between Anon-a-Miss and the Gabby Gums incident.
Yeah, the CMC is seeing firsthand how mad Princess Twilight is mad at them for hurting Sunset. Nobody hurts her best friend and gets away with it, even with her awful past.
Nice to see Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle being relieved at knowing that their sisters still care for them. Too bad that things are still tense between Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash. I'm worried that if RD and Scoots don't try to make amends, their relationship could end up being severed.
This story should serve as a fine reminder that while what the CMC did was awful, there are still humans who prove to make mistakes, not unrepentant monsters.
Whoa, boy. Things are going to be a bit tense between Sunset and Twilight.
7477938
That is a well-said statement if I say so. If anything, your analysis has caused me to ponder and reconsider where my thoughts lie in my beliefs and viewpoints surrounding the Anon-a-Miss quagmire since some of your points are quite valid.
7478033
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that the events of Anon-a-Miss make more sense if they occurred between the first two films, not after Rainbow Rocks. I'll take it a step further and say that, from a logical perspective, the Anon-a-Miss event inadvertently played a role in the massive amount of personal negatively that helped the Sirens in Rainbow Rock since as far as I'm concerned, the Anon-a-Miss quagmire happened in between Equestria Girls and Rainbow Rocks.
The only gripe I have is that if many people think that it makes more sense for Anon-a-Miss to happen before Rainbow Rocks, not after, then why hasn't one author written a story in which Anon-a-Miss occurs after the Fall Formal but before the Battle of the Bands?

The fact that we never saw the horrible things that Sunset did to ensure her iron-clad rule over Canterlot High is a missed opportunity to make Sunset a better villain among the likes of other well-established MLP villains. I mean, take Starlight Glimmer for example, up to a point. That said, and if I may ask for a hopeful answer, but what do you think should have been done in the first film to make Sunset a more serious villain?
