Extinction.
It’s a word I grew up around, but never fully understood.
Mother always talked about it, but I never got it. After all, there were hundreds of us, almost a thousand. How could we go extinct?
Mother always talked about the time before, when there were thousands of us. If I was good, she would tell me the story of the wicked ponies of Equestria, and how they drove us out here into the badlands.
Back then, “extinction” was just a far-off word that Mother always harped over, almost as much as her “Grand Plan” to take over Canterlot and then “all of Equestria would fall before her.”
Now Chrysalis is gone, her grand plan failed, and the last changeling hive is in shambles.
And extinction isn’t just a word anymore.

Trust.
Trust is the foundation of Equestria. The foundation of harmony.
Changelings are a threat to that trust. Their lies have already disrupted Equestria. Even now, neighbors watch, waiting for one another to crack and crumble... into a changeling.
Their lies have already corrupted my faithful student, Twilight, and through memory magic unknown they have turned her to their side. As a final insult, they even forced her to become a consort to one of their Queens.
I hear their lies for what they are when they tell me that they are the last. I know there are hives out in the Badlands, plotting their next move. Before then, we must prepare. Before then, we must wrest my faithful student from their grasp.
I can only hope we have time.

The Crystal Empire disappeared long ago during Princess Celestia and Princess Luna's quest to cleanse the land of Equestria from all forms of evil. King Sombra was a great threat to their entire world and when his defeat came about, at the cost of the Crystal Empire vanishing from existence, it brought nothing but a whole lot of good to the world.

What they didn't realise however, was that Sombra had survived their confrontation and was now plotting his revenge against them both in the one way he knew how.

Twilight Sparkle thought she was the luckiest filly in all of Equestria when Princess Celestia asked her to become her personal student, but she had no idea she'd be a pawn in a game nopony is even aware exists.

It was quite the usual day for the bustling street of Manehattan, ponies went on their day and minding on their business. Rarity, the rest of the Mane Six and Spike is preparing to depart from Manehattan after their stay here accompanying Rarity participating on 'Fashion Week', but something unexpected happened. There was a lot of shouting, mixed with a terrified scream of ponies. Many fled, but also many approached just to see what is happening. That includes the Mane Six aswell.
And there, just a few miles away from the shores of Manehattan with all of its Pride and Glory, those who stared are all in awe of its Might.

The proclaimed King of the Sea: Bismarck.

Twilight Sparkle is one of the most powerful Unicorns in Equestrian history. But how would the events of the show change if Twilight, the Element of Magic, was never a Unicorn? Would she still be able to wield the element? Would she still make the same friends? Would she even be Celestia's student at all?

After attempting to impress the judges during her entrance exam for Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, something transpires that alters Twilight's life irrevocably, as well as the destiny of all Equestria. In a very literal manner, Twilight metamorphoses into the embodiment of magic, much akin to how Discord embodies chaos. How will this unprecedented transformation shape forthcoming events? And how will Twilight grapple with mastering the newfound god-like abilities that have been unexpectedly thrust upon her?

I changed the name because I got quirked about typing it repeatedly and am writing the story so it can at least be understood by just an MLP or just a G-fan; and thought it get very confusing that one character's name was just another character's name with an adjective. Also... don't pretend it's the most imaginative name Toho has every made)

In a world of brass and steam, Twilight Sparkle had thought she had made a life-changing discovery with the invention of the telescope. For better or worse, she was correct.

Now her discovery has not only changed her life, but the lives of those she seeks out in her desperate attempt to contact the only other creature as lonely as Twilight herself.

It all would have been much simpler, but it had to be the one Twilight could only call The Mare on the Moon.

Twilight gets killed protecting Princess Celestia and wakes up to the words Game Over floating in front of her.

Becoming a princess means you get a lot of power. However, what happens when the power you have was obtained through dark means? Twilight battles with an inner force, driving her to a goal.
The question is... Which voice is best to follow?
