Takes place after S7/The Movie, but before S8. Story was drafted when S8 was brand new, so it does not take anything from S8 and later into account.

Surrounded by the Everfree Forest, filled with delinquents, devoid of morals and any real sources of magic, Ponyville is the worst place to live in all of Equestria. But it also has the cheapest rent and Twilight's life just collapsed to the point where she can't afford to live anywhere else.

Perhaps the only thing Twilight has going for her now is that Rarity, the most powerful pony in town, has taken a liking to her. Rarity is eloquent, but the leader of a gang. She's beautiful and intriguing, but the most irreverent and delinquent pony Twilight has ever met. Rumors swirl around her. Some ponies even say she and her entire gang are all vampires.

But Twilight is smart enough to not give in to temptations. Or join a gang. Or become a vampire.

Twilight, Spike, and their friends leave the School of Friendship to embark on another adventure. To fill in during their absence, Twilight assigned a substitute teacher to cover for her and teach her History of Friendship class. When the students find out they begin discussing what pranks they should pull or how they can convince what they assume will be a pushover substitute to go easy on the homework.

The pony who walks through the door is not who they were anticipating.

Twilight Sparkle is one of the most powerful Unicorns in Equestrian history. But how would the events of the show change if Twilight, the Element of Magic, was never a Unicorn? Would she still be able to wield the element? Would she still make the same friends? Would she even be Celestia's student at all?

A small story. Don't expect a super long story out of this. Inconsistent updates is my specialty. Especially due to college. Have fun reading this cutesy story!

The newest threat to harmony comes from above: the sun and the moon themselves. 

It's Equestria's Golden Age of Harmony, and the amulet Princess Twilight Sparkle used for decades to start the day and the night is starting to fail. Moving the sun and moon across the horizon grows more and more difficult with every passing day. If a solution isn't found soon Equestria will be condemned to eternal day or night, never changing again.

Hope remains, though, as Twilight looks to the only two ponies in Equestria who might have answers about the sun and moon. It remains to be seen if she is ready to hear those answers, or to do what must be done to maintain harmony.

She simply wanted to be left alone, but when the moon refuses to give way to the sun destiny forced her within the heart of battle and the Elements choose. Reaching out to a lonely princess her and her new friends are named champions of the realm but there is more than a little truth to the unicorns many names and darkness lurks in her heart

Tormented by secrets destroying her mind Twilight Sparkle has been thrusted into the role of hero. Now surrounded by friends, heart open to the world she had scorned before she will go on a journey of pain, love, friendship and forgiveness, and maybe just maybe she can heal what had been shattered so long ago..

Twilight's been having weird, unfamiliar urges ever since she became an alicorn. Like an intense desire to grow flowers, or the fact she can't stop chewing on her wings when she's distracted. As it turns out, you can't just suddenly inherit the magic of all three pony tribes without getting the instincts to match, and instincts can be a powerful thing. Doubly so when you're not used to them, and especially when they're telling you that your best friend with the gorgeous wings would make the perfect partner to share a nest with.

Originally this was supposed to be a birthday gift for Celysus, but I fell in love with the idea so it's gonna be a full fic now. You can't stop me.
