Say, this was a pretty neat short story, and it's nice to see Twilight being the good pony she always was.
Though I've yet to see much of the show, based on what I've read up on it and the episodes, I'm definitely glad she did thank Discord for his crucial actions in helping her become ruler, even if it may have lead to the events of the G5 to happen in a way.
This seems like it dersevers a follow up sequel to this.

That was pretty cute. Harmless and cute, I liked it. It does paint a pretty idea picture, while not neglecting to mention the more unsavory elements that led up to it. I think that for what this is, this was fine. I liked it and I think that for a starter story it's pretty neat.

Usually when Discord's antics are referenced in a fanfic, the writer insists on having somepony tell him to stuff it at best. This story basically says "no" to that in a sweet way that lets Twilight and Discord be themselves in a positive scenario.
Good, Discord being punished has probably been done to death as it is. The show writers had Discord do the wrong thing for the right reasons and he got depowered and beaten up by the Legion of Doom over it, everybrony knows this already. That should be punishment enough, but try telling that to bronies bitter over Season 9's writing quality. Sheesh.
