Hello! It's been a while since I've posted anything here, but I thought now is a good a time as any to post a status update.

Fair tidings and well met! By sheer coincidence and the stars aligning, my editor finished combing through chapter 32 last night!
.... While the entire site was down. 
But now that we've got that out of the way, I figured I'd update everyone. For those who do not know, Magisight is 33 chapters (32+epilogue) long. Here is the current status of the last two remaining chapters
32: Draft+Revision complete. Edit complete. Awaiting final proofread, then release.
Told you I wasn't dead. Take an anti-shot.
tldr: Not canceled, just IRL is a pain in the ass. Last 3 chapters are still in the works.
I haven't posted here in a bit, and I thought you all deserved an update. The gist of everything is, the events of COVID-19 have put a lot of stress on everyone involved. I don't want to go into personal details, since I figure you guys are here for horse stories, not the personal life of some random guy on the Internet. Progress is still being made, slowly, but surely.

Huzzah! Chapter 30 is out! I hope everyone has been enjoying things so far. With the release of 30, we've got only three chapters left to go before Magisight is fully complete.
Keeping this quick, since it's been a weird day for me. No chapter 30 tonight. My editor is at PAX, so we'll aim for either next week or the week after. Thanks for your patience, and please look forward to the next chapter!

Wew! I know last night's update breaks my typical update cycle, but I didn't want to make you guys wait any longer than necessary. I said once the chapter was finished, I would get it up for you all, and so I did! Fimfiction prime viewing hours/days be damned!
Unfortunately, chapter 29 of Magisight is still not yet ready for release. BUT, we're getting close! IRL is unpredictable as always, but the chapter is roughly 70% or so done. At this time, I can't say for certain exactly when it will be out, but I do not plan to wait another two full weeks unless it's necessary. Once the chapter is edited, polished, and proof-read, I'll put it up ASAP, whether that's a Monday, a Thursday, a Sunday, doesn't matter. With any luck we'll return to our normal-ish
Woop woop, doesn't this seem familiar? Chapter 29 will be delayed for 1-2 weeks. My editor has been super swamped with IRL, and I've been having some 11th-hour-last-minute concerns about the chapter myself. There are parts of chapter 29's narrative structure I am unsure on, and I don't know how happy I am with its execution. It might get another full re-write, or maybe just tweaks. I can't say for certain yet if it will be ready next week or if we'll push it back two weeks. I know it seems
Good evening everyone! I hope you're enjoying your weekend as much as I am. I had a three-day weekend myself, because I got fed up with work through the week and decided to take some PTO for Friday. I spent a huge chunk of the day reading, and now I am trapped in the special nightmare hellscape that is GMax shiny hunting in Pokemon Sword/Shield.
Great success! Chapter 27 is now up! And this time I'm actually posting a blog entry the night the chapter goes live (2:40 AM still counts; I haven't gone to bed yet). How exciting and unexpected!
Evenin' folks! I hope you guys are getting excited for the holidays! Unfortunately, I must be the bearer of bad news. Magisight chapter 27 will be delayed by 1-2 weeks, most likely 2 weeks. A number of things are at play here, but primarily it's due to the upcoming holiday season that has everyone here busy and flailing about IRL. The chapter simply isn't ready yet, and we want to ensure that it can be the best it possibly can be like all the others. I hope you all understand.

Where to start? This was a fun chapter to write, since like 25, it is wildly different from the draft. A few ideas from the draft made its way into the final version, but the entire flow and structure was re-written from the ground up. For starters, the last 105,000 words were written just an excuse to make my "The Rainbow & Dash room" joke.
Holy crap, a bunch of things happened in this chapter! First things first, I'll get the music information out of the way, then talk about chapter 25. As usual, chapter discussion will contain spoilers! Much like Amethyst Hollow and Peacegrove Village, my proofreader, Cadenza Heartsong, is working on a song for the Cloudsbane. Hey everyone! Not dead yet, I just forgot to make a blog update, as usual.
What an exciting chapter! Some of you might recognize the village, and the South Luna Sea, by taking a peak at the official Equestria map. It's also a place that's been visited a few times in the show. Of course, the Cloudsbane obviously doesn't appear in the show, but the location was too perfect to pass up!
I'm typing this at 2:15 AM and trying to come up with something witty and clever to write about.
