Magisight: Chapter 25 DELAY One Week · 10:39pm Nov 14th, 2019
The dreaded day we all feared has finally come, another delay!
I'm pushing back chapter 25 one week, and will then resume my normal bi-weekly schedule. There are a number of reasons for this, so I'll keep it short-ish. First reason is my editor has been swamped this week with IRL stuff, so he needs extra time to go over the chapter. The second reason, is I've been playing D&D every other Thursday night. It just so happens these D&D sessions are the same week that I put out chapters, and it's been somewhat hectic on everyone involved. Splitting this up would be beneficial to everyone involved, since by sheer coincidence, everyone involved in this fanfic is in that same D&D session.
The final reason, I'm not super happy with the magic descriptions in the chapter. The chapter is written, and is overall in good shape, but the devil is in the details, and I need to sit and ponder certain particulars involving pegasus magic, especially when compared to unicorn and earth pony magic. I want to ensure I deliver the best possible story, so I'll need an extra week to work out the kinks. Sometimes it's hard when you know exactly how it goes in your head, but struggle to translate it into the written word.
I apologize for the delay. Hopefully Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up won't set back any further chapters, but we'll see what happens. I don't think this will be the case, but I'll keep you all updated.
