Magisight: Chapter 28 · 1:52am Jan 19th, 2020
Good evening everyone! I hope you're enjoying your weekend as much as I am. I had a three-day weekend myself, because I got fed up with work through the week and decided to take some PTO for Friday. I spent a huge chunk of the day reading, and now I am trapped in the special nightmare hellscape that is GMax shiny hunting in Pokemon Sword/Shield.
But, you're not here for that, are you? Chapter 28 was kind of a slower chapter. Not really a whole lot going on, but there are tiny hints sprinkled about here and there. I thought Twilight deserved a little bit of a breather, but there is no time for Burger Princess, unfortunately! Not when stormageddon (her words, not mine) has hit the country. The draft for this chapter was actually quite a bit longer (almost 2500 words longer), but it was starting to meander, so my editor split it in two for me. Roughly half of chapter 29 will be stuff that was going to be included in 28, but was shuffled around a bit for pacing reasons. Nothing really earth-shattering, just some neat behind-the-scenes trivia.
A lot has certainly happened to Twilight since this whole thing began. The dream messages seem to have fully revealed themselves, but what do they really mean? Where does our intrepid little scholar go from here? Scant clues led her to the Crystal Empire in the north, and then by fate's good graces she was led to the far southeast where the Silverglade lay hidden. A call to action and dive into ancient texts sent her back on her journey once again, this time to the South Luna Sea, where ancient secrets threatened all.
But what next? Where does she go from here? Secrets of the unicorns, earth ponies, and pegasi have all been found; what is the next step on her path? Another lost tome buried in her castle? A meeting with the Sisters? Maybe the answer is unfolding right before her very eyes...

I've more or less stopped playing for the time being. For now, being able to buy out all the boutiques in Galar is good enough for me. >^_^<
