(I'm not sure if this story has been done before, but my little sister inspired me to write it. The entire cast was chosen by her.)

Time-travel is a bit of a sore subject for Twilight Sparkle. Hence, when the compiled secrets and techniques to do just that drop themselves into her lap, she is not particularly happy. Then she sees herself kissing Rarity, and that's the end of the world...

Unless she can save it from herself. Which she can't, really.

At Celestia's behest, Twilight Sparkle arrives in Ponyville to prepare for the Summer Sun Celebration, and potentially the return of Nightmare Moon.

Her preparations will be anything but easy. The stallions in charge of the festivities all seem to have taken a "romantic" interest in her, and every one of them is terrible at flirting. Really terrible. Really.

Fluttershy has found a new kind of creature in the forest. After tending to its wound, she brings it home with her and decides to keep it as her own. Twilight lives a comfortable, expected life with the security of being surrounded by her mentors and friends. Orphaned from birth, with only the memories of a soft touch and gentle voice to remember her by, Twilight yearns for her mother. What pony wouldn't want to know why they were abandoned, why they were left to be found by the Princess of the Sun herself.
