After surviving the dreaded Order 66, Jedi knight Joseph Malek has a near-death experience, in which he visits the most powerful being in existence. The strange being tells him of a future visit to its world before sending him back to his own existence. Twenty years later, while on a mission for the Rebellion, Malek accidentally stumbles upon a secret new world when his ship is damaged. The world’s Ruler, Princess Celestia, welcomes him and offers to aid in his ship's repairs. While there, Malek averts disaster when he stops a mutiny with the help of the planet’s inhabitants.

Now he must keep the world’s existence a secret when he travels back to his own dimension, which is rather hard when one if its people decides to sneak back with him.

When a mishap causes two para-dimensional weapons to colide with one another, RED Team's Pyro is sent flying from the Team Fortress 2 universe into the alternate universe of My Little Pony, where he is almost instantly discovered by Lyra, who shelters him in her home.

Having him hidden in her small townhouse isn't easy; keeping him from setting things on fire, teaching him that not every cart that passes by is cause for alarm, and that blue ponies are not something to be suspicious of.

However, with Nightmare Night soon approaching, Princess Luna feels that there may be something more sinister riding on the coat tails of Pyro's grand entrance; the first human to ever set foot in Equestria some thousand years ago...

Though the events of Discord are behind them, Twilight still thinks about the spirit of disharmony. Thoughts kept to herself, she realizes that some of the things she does remind her of him...and how she DOES miss him. Thoughts kept to herself, hiding it from her friends and even the princess, Twilight wonders what could have been if they never had turned Discord into stone. Would he still have been trouble?
