Life has a weird way of messing with you. You might get screwed here or there, out a job, maybe a stab in the back, nothing you can't get back from. Then there are those times. The times you can't get back from within your wildest dreams. And the universe couldn't cut me a break and make the impossibility simple. Nope, didn't get to stay human, didn't get the luxury of being transmorgified into a pony, griffon, or other, I didn't even end up as an already established pony within the candyland of Equestria!

Nope, for me, I wake up not as Pinkie Pie, but instead inside the mind of Pinkie Pie. Back on the rock farm when she was a filly. My name ain't that important anymore, but Pinkie's taken to calling me Mena. And it's gonna be a long, windy, freaky road ahead, ain't it?

9/19/2023: Overall grammar overhaul for existing chapters.

I might be a clone, but I'm still Pinkie Pie. I am. I look like her. I sound like her. I get that same feeling of existential dread when another Pinkie Pie walks in on my life.

Okay, so maybe that last part's just me.

POV of the Pinkie we are lead to believe to be the real Pinkie Pie.
I got the idea some time after watching Reviewing is Magic 5. (Watch it, it'll help explain some things, and get you into the proper mindset)
Tragedy tag is for Pinkie being emotionally scarred by Twilight.
Gore tag is just to be safe.

This is the first time I've written something like this. Tell me what you think, and any questions.
Written in the space of about 2 hours. My own head canon of the events that transpired.
WARNING: Twilight is put in a darker light.

Pinkie Pie's family has long lived in a community that has left itself stuck in the older ways of the world. In said community, however, everypony has a coming of age journey, a rite of passage, where they venture into Modern Equestria and are given the chance to decide for themselves who they want to be.

Venture into the past, to see how Pinkie met her friends, obtained her life, and became the Premier Party Pony of Ponyville!

This story is a sequel to The Pinkie Paradox

You don't have to read Paradox to enjoy this story, but it would be helpful.

Uh, hi, I guess. I’m Ditzy. You can call me Derpy though, it’s fine.

I guess I kinda got the idea for this thing—diary? Is this a diary? Anyways, I got the idea when my friend Pinkie Pie dropped off that book to my hospital room. Oh, I was in the hospital for a while. I probably should have mentioned that. I don’t remember a ton of it though, ‘cause I kinda got knocked out. Anyways, l'm trying to figure all of this stuff out.

Diane Pie, I'm going to find out what happened to you.

Wet. It’s the first thing I can remember. The water of the Mirror Pool dripped off of me as I stepped out and took my first breath. After that, it was just sort of a blur for a while.

What if instead of the real Pinkie Pie, one of the duplicates passed the test? They'd do anything to survive unexposed. And Pinkie's friends would do anything to get her back.

This story is a sequel to The Tragedy of Pinkie

This is a story about Pinkie's travels during the events of The Tragedy of Pinkie

It details a bit about Pinkie's life during this time, and tells a little bit about what she does. It includes ideas that I had for the original story, but that I cut for the sake of concision.

Though it's not necessary, I'd recommend reading The Tragedy before this story.

This is a short story about Pinkie Pie, and a dramatic change in her life.

The ending is not a pleasant one.

We all know what happened at the mirror pond: Pinkie Pie cloned herself to spend more time with her friends, things got out of hand, and Twilight weeded out the real Pinkie and sent all the clones back...or, almost all of them. One clone was different, and decided to sneak away while the pandemonium ensued. She went on a journey to Manehattan to try to start a new life for herself. This is her story, from her point of view.
